@uretericbud You’ll be back for sure and hydroureter in absence of filling defect is super low yield. Would not be worried ab ureter at all, no reason to manipulate IMO

UPPER TRACT MANIPULATION at TIME OF TURBT
Gross heme eval in elderly male smoker reveals (1) bulky BT and (2) CT Urogram with equal nephrograms, no frank filling defect, but mild unilateral hydroureteronephrosis to mid ureter (etiology unclear). Next step:

@uretericbud @lee_hugar_md @LauraBukavinaMD @CanesDavid @dytcmd Couldn't agree more. I stopped leaving drains after RALP or Robo partial ab 1 year ago unless obvious concern for urine leak. Have yet to regret, prob leave a drain in 1 in 20. Patients much happier after.

Level 1 Surgical trial evidence is a real unicorn in urology. So this is very impressive.
I appreciate the robotic exuberance but this study confirms priors (anti robo will stay anti: pro will be pro)
