This one don set agenda for e papa and there are fools in the comment cursing their fathers. Sometimes, I wonder if their brains are not just capable of processing new information. Their brains must have a "do not disturb" sign permanently hung on the door marked "new information."

What happened in our theatre today I still don't know how to explain. She had just delivered. A beautiful baby. Healthy. Perfect. But no one expected what came next. After delivery, she started having postpartum blééding. She didn’t tell us. She didn’t alert the nurses. She just lay quietly on the bed, pretending to rest. When one of the nurses went back to check on the new mothers, she noticed something was wrong. The mother seemed asleep… but something felt off. She tapped her shoulder. No response. A quick check revealed heavy blééding. Too much. Far too much. The alarm was raised immediately. Doctors and nurses rushed. She was quickly carried to the emergency resuscitation room. Every effort was made: IV fluids, medications, blood transfusions. Everything we knew was thrown at saving her. But she didn’t wake up. Her pulse was faint. Her lips pale. Her eyes closed. Minutes felt like hours. Then the doctor whispered the words that crushed our hearts: “She’s gõne.” 😢 The nurses began crying bitterly 😭. Some held their faces. Some sank to the floor. The weight of despair filled the room. Someone who just delivered savely some hours ago. They began preparing her documentation. She was gently covered with a white cloth. Her husband cõllapsed to the ground, crying, shouting prayers, begging God to save her 😭. The entire ward felt like the world had stopped. As they carried her on the wheel bed to take her to the mõrtuary… Suddenly, a faint cough. Silence. Then someone shouted: “She’s awake! She’s awake!” 😭 The room froze. Her fingers twitched. Her eyelids fluttered. Her chest rose. Her husband fell to his knees, sobbing uncontrollably 😭. She opened her eyes and whispered, weakly but alive: "Why is my husband crying?" “My baby… is my baby okay?” The baby’s cry filled the room. Perfect. Strong. Alive. Tears rolled down every face 😭. The nurses, doctors, husband, and mother herself, all overwhelmed by the impossible. A live had been at the edge. saved. Today reminded us all: Even when hope seems gone… Even when déãth seems certain… Miracles still happen. 🙏 To every mother reading this: Your life will not end today. Your baby will survive. You will survive. Whatever dãnger seems unstoppable, mercy can still rewrite the ending. This was not just medicine. This was a miracle refusing to stay silent 🙏 Preshcute utonwa

🔴 A Physicist Claims He Found God’s Address — And It’s So Far Away, Light Can’t Reach It A former Harvard physicist has made a claim so wild it’s stopping people mid-scroll: he believes God may have a physical location in the universe — but it’s around 439 billion trillion kilometers away. That’s so far that even light itself can never reach us from there. According to Dr. Michael Guillén, this location lies at the very edge of what we can ever observe, a boundary known as the cosmic horizon. Beyond this point, space expands faster than light can travel, meaning anything there is permanently hidden from us. Here’s the mind-bending part: Guillén suggests that at this cosmic boundary, time no longer exists — no past, no present, no future — only timelessness. He connects this idea with descriptions of God from the Bible, arguing that a timeless, unreachable region fits the concept of a divine being. Sounds poetic… but there’s a catch. Scientists say the cosmic horizon is not a real place, just a limit of what we can see from Earth. Time doesn’t stop there — it only appears slowed because the universe stretches light as it travels. In simple terms: the universe isn’t hiding God at the edge of space. That edge depends on where you are. To someone far away, we are at their cosmic horizon — and last time we checked, we’re not gods. Still, the idea is fascinating. A mix of physics, philosophy, and belief that forces one big question: Are the limits of the universe also the limits of human understanding? 🌌

A Wrong Version of Islam I grew up in the wrong version of Islam. An Islam mixed with fear, not faith. An Islam built on incantations, sacrifices, concoctions, incisions, amulets, soaps and spirits, not God. When I was young, my Alfa would send me to look for lizards. Me and other boys would roam uncompleted buildings, chasing them, catching some alive, killing some already dead. I became very good at it. I mastered how to catch them without stress. I was proud of that skill. I watched him put the lizards in a pot with stems and roots of different trees. He added alligator pepper and burned everything into ashes. I watched him put a big black cat inside a sack, slam it against the wall while it cried, fighting for its life, until the life was beaten out of it. Then he burned it into ashes. One day I asked him if Islam permits burning animals alive in such a cruel way. His answer was always the same. “Take care of your own life. You don’t need to worry about some things.” And because he was the scholar, because he was the Alfa, because he was supposed to know better, we kept quiet. His room was always packed with bottles of schnapps. Mysterious calabashes. A strange white bowl he claimed to consult. He said a spirit lived inside it and spoke clearly. You could hear the voice. But if you opened the bowl, it was just a gourd inside. Sometimes he gave us powders while chanting incantations for minutes, mentioning the names of gods and spirits. Later, I bought an exercise book and started writing everything down. Every charm I learned from him. That was my own account book. Charms for good luck. Soaps for blessings. Charms that bullets could not penetrate. Charms that could make a woman fall in love with you. I wrote over a hundred of them. For a long time, I thought this was Islam. I thought this was life. Until I met the true Islam. The Islam that told me all of this is shirk and idolatry. That burning animals this way is not Islam, it is cruelty. That consulting sand, water, spirits, bowls or calabashes is not spirituality, it is falsehood. That fear-driven rituals are not faith. That God does not share His power with charms, powders or spirits. Only God knows how many Muslims are still trapped in this false version of Islam. An Islam inherited, not understood. An Islam mixed with culture, fear and silence. An Islam that looks religious but has nothing to do with God. And the most dangerous part is this. Many of them think they are defending Islam, when in reality, they are worshipping something else entirely.

My brother! Two good questions, and before I dive in, let me first apologise to many who have been sending me questions via social media platforms (especially Facebook and X) and have not received a reply. The reason is simple: I have limited time to answer dozens of messages online, since I usually respond to most during my weekly lessons and Tafseer sessions, which I consider more formal and what I can properly manage. I sincerely apologise to all those I have been unable to reply to, in the past, and even in the future. Now, to your first question: selling your blood: this is impermissible by the consensus of all leading Islamic scholars. The Prophet (PBUH) forbade taking payment for blood (see Sahihul Bukhari, Hadith no. 5962). The hadith refers to money earned by selling blood). For further detail, see the book of Lajnatut Da’imah ( Volume 13, Number 71). However, donating blood for free, under medical advice and to save a life, is highly commendable, and encouraged for anyone, regardless of his tribe, race, religion or group (see Qur’an, Suratul An’am, Verse 160). Second question: Selling organs is also prohibited, since your body is a trust from your Creator, Allah. For details, refer to the fatwa of Al-Muntaqa issued by His Eminence, Shaykh Saleh al-Fawzan. That said, donating an organ to save a life is permissible, but with conditions. The conditions are: it must be an organ on which life does not completely depend on (e.g., a kidney or blood vessel). On the contrary, if it’s vital, like heart, liver or brain, then it is not allowed to donate it, except for someone who has been declared medically dead. (see the Resolution No. 2117 of the Islamic Fiqh Council). In summary, selling blood or organs is prohibited; giving them away to save a human life is permissible, as long as the donor’s own life does not depend on that organ. Indeed, Allah is the All-Knowing.

Dear Nigerian non Muslims, we need you all to know that northern Muslims are not the yardstick for Islam in Nigeria and they don’t represent the entire Nigerian Muslims. Whatever of their conduct that is not peaceful and humanly justified has nothing to do with Islam. Our religion is religion of peace and it’ll always be.

My Dear Nigerian brothers and sisters in Islam, As-Salam 'Alaykum Wa RahmatuLlah Wa BarakātuHu, In our beautiful but fragile country, the way we speak about our Christian neighbours matters more than ever. The Qur’ān teaches us the best manners (adab) when addressing people of other faiths. More than 25 times, Allah calls the followers of the Injil “Ahl al-Kitāb” (People of the Scripture) or “alladhīna ūtū l-Kitāb”. That is the respectful, default term Allah Himself chose. Allah also tells us that among the Christians (Naṣārā) are priests and monks who are not arrogant, and they are the closest in affection to the believers (Q5:82). This is divine wisdom we must follow. Therefore, I humbly appeal to every Nigerian Muslim: Stop using the word “kāfir / kuffār / kuffs” when speaking about or to our Christian brothers and sisters in daily life or in writings on social media and elsewhere. Instead, use the beautiful Qur’ānic terms: “Ahl al-Kitāb”, “Naṣārā”, or simply “our Christian neighbours / fellow citizens”. This is not watering down our faith, it is following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) who never insulted the Christians of Najrān or the monks he met. It is the fastest way to open hearts, reduce tension, and protect the peace of our nation. May Allah guide us to what He loves and pleases Him. Your brother in Islam, Imām, Idris Ajani Oni.

“NO BROMATE!” Have you ever wondered why we usually see this boldly printed on most bread nylons? Well, today… I’m going to tell you why. You see, bromate... scientifically known as potassium bromate (KBrO₃) is a chemical compound once used in bread-making. Bakers loved using it because it made their dough rise better, the bread softer, and the loaves looked fluffier and more appealing. But there was a problem. A deadly one. If bromate isn’t completely broken down during baking, which often happens when bread isn’t baked hot or long enough... it usually remains inside the loaf. And whenever humans consume it, it accumulates. Studies began to show that bromate was carcinogenic. Meaning that it could cause cancer and it could also cause serious damage to the human kidneys. For years, Nigerians ate bread laced with this silent poison. It was everywhere. Bakeries used it freely because it was cheap and effective until one woman decided that enough was enough. Her name was Professor Dora Nkem Akunyili, the Director-General of NAFDAC from 2001 to 2008. When she took office, Nigeria’s food and drug system was like a jungle. Fake drugs, unregulated imports, and dangerous additives flooded the market. Dora wasn’t the kind of woman who looked away. She sent her team into bakeries across the country to collect bread samples quietly. When the results came back, what they found out was very terrifying: most bread in the market contained dangerous levels of bromate. That was all she needed to see. In 2002, NAFDAC under Dora Akunyili officially banned potassium bromate in all bread production across Nigeria. She didn’t stop there, she also went on air, she held press conferences and she called out those bakeries by name. She told Nigerians, “The same bread that makes up part of your children’s breakfast could slowly destroy their health.” She faced lots of backlash. Bakers fought back. But she stood firm. Under her leadership, NAFDAC raided bakeries, shut down violators, and educated the public. And slowly, the change began. Bakeries shifted to safer alternatives like ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and the phrase “NO BROMATE” became a proud declaration of safety. Today, most Nigerians don’t even realize how many lives that single policy saved. Dora Akunyili wasn’t just a regulator, she was a protector. A woman whose integrity and courage forced an entire industry to value life over profit. So, the next time you unwrap a loaf of bread and see “NO BROMATE” written boldly on the nylon, please pause for a second and remember the woman who made all that possible. She saved a generation.
