In light of current geopolitical disruptions to fuel supply and constraints on supply of LPG, Ministry has issued orders to oil refineries for higher LPG production and using such extra production for domestic LPG use. The ministry has prioritised domestic LPG supply to households and introduced 25 day inter- booking period to avoid hoarding/black marketing. Non domestic supplies from imported LPG is being prioritised to essential non domestic sectors such as Hospitals and Educational institutions. In March 1955, #jawaharlalnehru was attacked by a man, Babu Rao Laxman Kohale, with a 6 inches long knife in #nagpur . #nehru was standing on an open car as crowd was welcoming him when the #assassin came in front of car riding a cycle rickshaw and attacked the #primeminister. An alert 65 years old Nehru, fought with him, overpowered and took possession of the knife before #bodygaurds could act. It took only 10 seconds for Nehru to disarm the man & throw him down. He later dismissed the incident as a maniac attack by a "cranky person". The assassination attempt was one of many on Nehru.
