Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed said they have confidence in the judiciary, yet Datti is making anti democratic threats? Atiku protested in Abuja. Have Peter and Datti protested? Third place that want to be declared winners? If they talk treason, they go to prison! #TableShaker

Persecution is nothing new. God be with you Donald Trump as you step out to meet your accusers. You will defy the odds and come out on top. You shall not go down. You shall put your enemies to shame. You shall be elected President next year. Millions are praying for you. #MAGA

The fact that our reverred leader and one of the fathers of our nation, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, can sit there and say nothing when Chief (Dr.) Emmanuel Iwanyanwu, an elderstatesman who I have always respected, describes the entire Yoruba race as "rascals" that the Igbo "will DEAL with" tells me that the rumour that he is NOT a fully-fledged Yoruba man and that his father was an Igbo may well be true. Whatever the case this is not the OBJ I once knew, loved, defended and worked so hard for. Something has gone wrong. No-one could have made a statement against ANY tribe in the presence of the old OBJ that we all knew and respected and got away with it. He would have got up and told them off. As for Iwanyanwu I will not respond to him or to all those that were at that event and that collectively rubbished our people because they are my in-laws and because my four sons are half Igbo. There is nothing Iwanyawau can say that will make me turn against the Igbo because I have blood and family ties with them and I will continue to love them despite this outrageous provocation. Apart from that there are millions of Igbos who do not share Iwanyanwu's views and who have shown nothing but the greatest respect for the Yoruba race and our Northern brothers and allies. Amongst them are dear friends and brothers like John Nwodo, Orji Uzor Kalu, Chimaroke Nnamani, Ifeanyi Ugwainyi, David Umahi, Hope Uzodinma, Innocent Chukwuma, Emeka Offor and so many others. Iwanyanwu does not represent them when he calls us rascals and neither does he represent the wives of Seyi Makinde, Rotimi Akeredolu, Ademola Adeleke, Gbadebo 'Chinedu' Rhodes-Vivour, David Adedeji Adeleke (AKA Davido) and yours truly who all happen to be Igbo. What I will say though is that those Igbos that think like Iwanyanwu need to be careful and appreciate the fact that those so-called "Yoruba rascals" have shown the Igbo race more love, respect, admiration, fraternity, solidarity and courtesy over the last 63 years than ANY other tribe in Nigeria and millions of Yoruba men have Igbo wives. Again many Yoruba leaders stood with and supported Peter Obi in his ill-fated quest to become President of Nigeria including Pa Ayo Adebanjo, OBJ, Afenifere, Akin Oshuntokun, Gbadebo 'Chinedu' Rhodes-Vivour, Babatunde Gbadamosi and so many others. I wonder if they are "rascals" too? We extended our hand for a handshake across the Niger a few years back and we built bridges with the east. Chief Iwanyanwu, Ohaneze and Afenifere were at that conference and so was yours truly. As a matter of fact we all made resounding and inspiring speeches seeking for a closer relationship and greater collaboration between our people. It was a wonderful occasion and a great experience. We were in full solidarity with the Igbo then and lamented the injustices they had been subjected to over the years. I even went as far as to declare that Nigeria owes the Igbo an apology for the genocide they were subjected to during the civil war and the pogroms before the war. I maintain that position till today and so do many other Yorubas. The only thing we asked for in return was a little respect and for them not to describe Lagos as a "no man's land". This is a very emotional issue for us. The assertion that Lagos is not part of Yorubaland is deeply offensive and insulting to us. We also chose to support Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a proud son of the Yoruba, for the Presidency. These two things have caused a handful of misguided Igbos to now display hatred towards us, to insult us at every turn, to unleash their youth against us in the Media space and to describe us as "rascals". With those words and that attitude the bridge between our two people may soon be broken and the handshake across the Niger may soon be withdrawn. That would be a tragedy of monumental proportions and a negation of all we stand for. We must not let it happen. 1/ (CONTINUED BELOW)

A WORD TO THE DOGS OF OPPOSITION As a consequence of the events of the last few days I am constrained to say that, like a rabid and mad dog that is foaming at the mouth, the Nigerian opposition, represented by the followers of Atiku Abubakar (Atikulators) and the followers of Peter Obi (Obidients), have lost control of their senses. They need to get a grip before it is too late. They are attempting to start something that they cannot finish and that they cannot possibly fathom the end of. They are beating the drums of war and are indulging in a level of irresponsible and downright dangerous behaviour that has NEVER been witnessed before in the annals of the history of our politics. As a consequence of their subterranean manipulations, byzantine conspiracies, unhinged vituperations and unbridled desperation things are getting very hot and they are pushing us towards an Armageddon-like melt down and the road to Kigali. Be rest assured that had it not been for impartiality, strong resolve, persistent interventions and sheer professionalism of our intelligence agencies and particularly the DSS who have worked day and night to keep the peace and stop us from tearing each other apart, we would have trod that disaterous path and met a bitter end long ago. The signals are not good and, unless they exercise restraint, reflect sobriety and change course quickly, it is clear that our nation will soon find itself in a cataclysmic and monumental struggle between the forces of light and darkness, the likes of which have never been seen before. Permit me to offer some free and unsolicited advice to them and to those that are stoking their insufferable and rabid arrogance, intransigence and belligerence from behind the scenes. That advice is as follows. Peace is priceless and unity is a fundamental pre-requisite to progress and prosperity: you must learn to cherish them both. That you have lost today does not mean you will lose forever. I counsel you to calm down, purge yourself of hate, sheath your sword of war, drop your dastardly gameplan and not so hidden agenda to establish an Interim Government, desist from displaying madness, bend the knee and bow to your President-elect, refrain from weaponising falsehood, act within the law and, if you must, make your protestations quietly in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility and there will be no problems. Go to court, if you must, and state your case with respect, dignity and decorum and I assure you that, no matter the outcome, there will be NO issues. That is what democracy and the rule of law is all about. You win some and you lose some. That is the reasonable, rational and responsible attitude and disposition that you should cultivate, display, engender and reflect. That is the path to peace. However if you continue to say you do not believe in the system or institutions, that the President-elect must not be sworn in under any circundtsnces and that you have no faith in the courts or the rule of law and you encourage people to take the law into their own hands then you are inviting chaos, anarchy, violence, tyranny, fascism, treason, a breach of the constitution and the law of the jungle and we will NOT sit by idly and allow that. If you continue to incite, intimidate, threaten, provoke, destabilise, undermine and overheat the polity and breach the rules of engagement all hell will break lose. Our only "crime" was to win an election yet because you cannot bear the fact that you lost you want to pull the whole house down and burn everyone in it. Let this serve as a timely warning. We cannot be a punching bag for the opposition forever and soon we will react. Trust me when I tell you that if there is any foul play in this matter or any conspiracy to thwart the people's will we will make this nation ungovernable. (CONTINUED BELOW)

I dare the Supreme Court of Nigeria to issue an official statement denying that the CJN, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola was never in the UK in the last 24hrs, if they have balls. Then we will pull out the flight manifest and his immigration records since we are all mad. RUBBISH!
