@nichegamer NES Classic makes sense (they delayed their big game out of the Holidays that year after all,) but SNES Classic released 9 months *after* Wii U was discontinued, so I think Reggie may be getting some wires crossed.

@StormslayerDev 100%. Exaggerated, angular designs are the best way to keep the feel of N64/PS1 models in-tact. Spyro in Reignited Trilogy is a great example.

@SakataDrew They're new games released post-Switch 2 which play and run better on it. They don't need NS2 Editions to be crossgen, at least in my opinion.

To this day.... one question I always had about Link's background in Age of Calamity. Was he never a royal guard? Before he became Zelda's personal knight, he was always in a Hylian Soldier uniform.

A few reminders. By the end of 2014, the Wii U was the only console in it's generation that: -Had backwards compatability with it's predecessor console. -Had backwards compatibility with it's predecessor console's accesories. -Had free online multiplayer. It was the most economically friendly console, and the games that came out for it were solid hits, since they later wound up being top sellers when re-released for the Nintendo Switch. It was a great console, but was overlooked entirely because either people didn't understand what it was about or they couldn't play their Call of Duty or Battlefield games on it.

So yeah, since Link is 17 by the time of the calamity and Link is now considered an accomplished Knight, he has to be at minimum 16 years old when he talks with her again after getting the sword

@THEScarletMads They needed something in Nov 2016 because Breath of the Wild was delayed out of it to have a dual launch on Switch in March the next year. You know, the game that went on to sell over 30 million units and which still stands as the highest rated game on Switch 1, 9 years later.

Claiming Link visits the Domain thrice before becoming Zelda's guard and twice with the Master Sword, with a noted time gap between every visit. Link is 15ish at the time of the Calamity, so it's highly plausible he was 12 during his 2nd visit

@Aster899 @tloz_queen This isn't true actually, this is misinformation that stems from the original passage being corrupted by word of mouth. CAC specifcally states no records exist of when Link got the sword because they were destroyed in the Calamity and merely offers a guess.

@ShitpostRock2 Doraemon and Phineas and Ferb would likely cancel each other out as gag characters. The Combine and Helldiver Corps are a decent match as well. Vegeta basically solos everything on the right though, so probably the North.
