My mom modeled this type of behavior to me. She scoffed at women in public who clearly put time and care into their appearance. She would often say things like “who does she think she is?” Or “she so full of herself”. And it wasn’t just women in revealing outfits. It was women wearing powerfully beautiful pieces, especially heels. It had a major negative impact on me that I’m still working through. I downplayed my wardrobe and tried not to look too put together or fancy for most of my life. I wanted to wear beautiful outfits that I looked great in, but I often decided against it because I didn’t want to be judged. I was doing my confidence and expression as a woman such a disservice. If I have daughters, I will never put down other women who take pride in how they present themselves.

There are around 1-2L MBBS seats in our country. Around 50k MD seats. Around 50-60% of which are clinical. So, around 25k/year. Around 30% of all doctors work in govt. So 17.5k would be in private. Most won’t earn in crores. Even at a 30% earning that amount - it’s 5k doctors. So when a NEET UG aspirants thinks clearing NEET UG means earning in crores - it means - out of 20L aspirants - 5k of you will earn in crores when you reach 45 years of age.

@CoderUday No engineer is guaranteed of a job in 40s and 50s. And doctors make crores. Is this even a comparison bro?

The concept of stanning BTS without obsessing over their private lives, relationships, sexuality, friendships, or analyzing every interaction they have.

You're lying in bed, headphones on, building entire scenarios in your head. Replaying conversations you wish had gone differently. Imagining a relationship that doesn't exist -but feels real. Psychologists call this maladaptive daydreaming. It's your mind escaping into vivid, imagined worlds that feel safer or more controllable than reality. This activates the brain's default mode network - linked to imagination and self reflection. It releases dopamine, the same chemical that rewards us when we succeed in real life. But here's the catch. Because the victories are imagined, the relief is temporary. The roots often trace back to childhood-loneliness, neglect, or pain. When reality felt unsafe, the brain built a world where you could finally be in control. It's not laziness. It's your nervous system regulating emotions through imagination. The real danger comes only when escaping feels easier than living.

Thinking about how in barbie land where everything is perfect for women, men still aren't suffering. they aren't in servitude, they aren't being objectified or harassed. they are just not the main characters. but in a world run by and for men, women are NEVER safe. that's the difference between feminists and misogynists. women just want to be left alone, while men don't see us as humans.

Dear medical students, Donor bone marrow is received by the recipient through intravenous (IV) infusion via a central venous catheter - not by direct injection into the bone. Thank you.
