This one may be kicked out of the job very soon. POTUS said it was a joint operation. President Bola Tinubu confirmed the same. Who are you to embarrass the government by issuing a contradictory statement? Were you (Mr Onoja) expecting the U.S. Navy SEALs or Delta Force to physically lead the operation? 🤦 Their role was intelligence and coordination.

People from Oshodi-Isolo are determined and looking for every possible means to replace Okey Joe, the person representing Oshodi-Isolo in the House of Representatives. We’ve seen their publications claiming that Okey only empowers Ibo people in Oshodi-Isolo. To be honest, it might be difficult to unseat him because that area is dominated by those people. If it weren’t for Asiwaju’s role in establishing Lagos State, these Ibo people want extra exclusiveness in Lagos State affairs and always wanting to be in a position to dictate who becomes Governor of Lagos State. There is a formula to deal with this nuisance, and we are going to apply it whether they like it or not. *

Guys look at that thing inwas saying yesterday 🤦‍♀️🙆‍♀️ This Ozumba Mbadiwe is a high-traffic, iconic corridor where many people coming to the Island pass through, from Lekki Phase 1 down to Bonny Camp, is not suppose to be allowed look like this no matter what. The government is fixing a lot of roads, but there are strategic places that, if you don’t fix on a priority basis, it gives the wrong impression, everything is packaging. This is what people see first before they see other investments, and now that the video is trending from US to the UK to Europe, it’s creating a wrong impression despite government efforts. Highly visited places are supposed to have the best and most iconic roads, with intentional maintenance like cutting the greenery regularly. The government should award contractors to CECC, Julius Berger, Hi-Tech, or Craneburg to rehabilitate this stretch from Lekki phase 1 down to BonnyCamp, with LASPARK maintaining the greenery. Omo Gov Fashola understood this well and kept this same area clean and well-decorated. You cannot be chasing big projects and overlook basic things like this. The environment is very important. This road needs proper, solid (ideally concrete) rehabilitation that can last 20–30 years, to reduce maintenance costs, and should be handled urgently. The government should squeeze out the funds and award it ASAp for proper rehabilitation not patch work. 🎥: Frame 1: Trending video showing deplorable state of a very important highway Frame 2-3: current look of the Ozumba Mbadiwe road and how it should look to enhance the beauty of the very strategic access road Frame 4: same road under Gov Fashola well maintained with proper greenery maintainence and signages.
