They voted against the bill that would pay TSA agents while at the same time defunding BPE and ICE. Thats why they didn't vote for i. I travel every single week and can tell you most of the TSA agents just stand around not doing a damn thing at this point, as so much of the screening is not automated and computer-run imaging. You do need them to staff screening lines, and without enough TSA folks present the number of lines open is minimal. This is what is causing the long lines. Not sure ICE will be any better, or worse...but if the lines start moving guess we'll know.

@catturd2 What would be funny is if all the lines ran smoothly because 40% of the flyers don't show up because they are Illegals.

They are going to open up and staff additional screening lanes. The reason the airports are backed up is because there are less than half of the usual screening lanes open right now. So they will open them up, and get the lines moving. Instead of a TSA agent watching you scan your ID and get your picture taken, an ICE agent will be the one doing so. This really isn't that complicated. Thing about how TSA agents move the lines along, and ICE will be playing those roles.

@catturd2 Why? Democrats plan is let MAGA dig their own hole. What exactly are gangs of ICE agents gonna do in a place where everyone must have Real ID to begin with? Guess they can beat on tourists & US citizens... Can I offer y'all a bigger shovel to dig that hole with?

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but they are already being profiled at airports. Travelers are profiled based on behavior. Do some research (what demographics fly, what behavior is flagged, does income influence traveler demographics are a few to start with) before you use your only response and call me a bigot.
