I have spoken with many other creators and it is not just me going through this. One person at MarkScan is going around claiming to work for CrunchyRoll but they are based at a completely unrelated Indian company, striking and taking down channels on YouTube and Twitch. Roughly 10 creators have been hit already and all have been streaming different stuff and none of it has violated Twitch's own policies, YouTubes or the law. We know this for many reasons but one main one TWITCH AND YOUTUBE REMOVED THE STRIKES! @TwitchUKI @TwitchUKI @Twitch WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING TO HELP? You have let this person take down channels at will for the last week, fraudulently and have ignored every single creators emails but removed the strikes and allowed them to keep doing it? WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON?! I cannot stress how big this is. If this keeps happening I will stop doing all content related to anime. But it might not stop there because the same company and person strikes channels for Taylor Swift related content. This company, MarkScan needs to be blocked on these platforms. They are not directly affiliated with anyone they claim to be. I just got striked AGAIN! someone else streamed a picture of an anime, no sound, and got striked for that! So many smaller creators are reaching out to me to help and I can't even help because if Twitch doesn't block them and I can't get hold of them I can't even fully pursue it legally. We are literally stuck. So once again, it's up to you guys, no one is listening to us and this person is just destroying our lives. Please spread this, help get it in front of as many eyes as possible. This will destroy me and so many others if it doesn't stop. We can't keep letting this automatic systems allow anyone to strike, takedown and remove channels without any human eyes ever looking at it. Please, help 💔

Good news, bad news. The good news is that my mom just celebrated her 82nd birthday. The bad news is that we did it in the palliative care wing of the hospice she’s in. As one of her gifts, I upgraded her iPad. My mom uses technology purely on a utility basis: I mean, she hasn’t worn a watch since she was an RN. She’s never had a cell phone. She didn’t even get her driver’s license until my Dad died. But about five years ago, against her protests that she’d never use it, I got her an iPad so we could FaceTime. If you have a senior relative, you know why. They’re not going to have a good time setting up a USB webcam and figuring out Zoom and Windows Audio. But anyone can use FaceTime without much explanation. And she did, and it was great. And over time, she started using it for email and Facebook and news and whatever else seniors do online. It’s been her lifeline in many regards. Certainly, for communication, it’s been essential since she’s been ill. Now, to be honest, we don’t FaceTime all that often. We’re both introverts in many respects, but I’ve become far too accustomed to hearing from her several times a day via iMessage, or to the odd long philosophical dialogue we both enjoy, with the added benefit of “think, then type, then send”. Missing that daily correspondence will be one of the hardest parts. But her old iPad was a 32GB model, so the OS couldn’t even be upgraded at this point. And the microphone was getting weird. And yes, she knows with military confidence that she was NOT covering the microphone by resting it on her lap. Honest. It was time to replace it. I’ve got autism. No idea if my mom has it, but suffice it to say, “she doesn’t like change.” And no matter what, if you’ve ever been tech support for a senior relative, you appreciate that you can’t just show up at a birthday party and just say, “Here’s your new device, replacing the one that you love, good luck! Shoot me a text when you get it all set up!” And that’s where Apple shines. You point the camera of one iPad at the screen of the other and wait a few minutes. Suddenly, your new iPad *IS* your old iPad, from apps to photos to icon locations. She did have to adjust to the lack of a Home button – but that was the biggest change, and it took no time at all. Kudos to Apple. And call your mom.

#Schraubermoment Nummer 2188 ---😑 Special Edition 😑--- Manchmal kommt es bei einer umfangreichen Reparatur durchaus vor, dass man sich selbst ein Bein stellt und sich dadurch selbst das Leben schwer macht... Und genau diesen Fall hatte ich gestern und heute gehabt... Aber zuerst zu Ausgangslage: -Ford Transit -Baujahr 2023 -Automatikgetriebe durch "Feindkontakt" mit einer Verkehrsinsel beschädigt -Automatikgetriebe musste dementsprechend erneuert werden (Gehäuse gerissen > 100 Punkte) Um die Reparatur durchzuführen, müssen aufgrund von "Baulich bedingten Umständen" (So nannte es zumindest die Ausbau Anleitung die ein Inscheniör geschrieben haben MUSS) Motor und Getriebe als Verbund ausgebaut werden (Ja, da gabs bestimmt ein Fleißkärtchen für den Inscheniör der das verbrochen hat...und glaube mir, ich finde dich irgendwann🫵) Also alles ausgebaut, den Motor zur Hälfte von Wasserschläuchen, Partikelfilter und Kabelstrang befreit und das traurige Automatikgetriebe abgebaut🤝 (Waren chillige 7 Stunden...du ehrenloser Inscheniör...) Anschließend das neue Getriebe dran, dem Motor Kabelstrang, Partikelfilter und Wasserschläuche wieder angezogen und wieder mit dem Auto verheiratet🤵‍♂️👰‍♂️ Gestern gegen 15 Uhr war es dann soweit den Schlüssel umzudrehen und die Routine zum entlüften des Wasserkreislaufs durchzuführen und der Motorsteuerung freundlich zu verklickern, dass nun ein neuer Getriebe Kumpel an Bord ist👍 Soweit hatte auch alles (wie erwartet) funktioniert...bis auf 2 Fehlercodes: -Kühlmittelpumpe A > Signalamplitude außerhalb Bereich (Diese ist für den wassergekühlten Ladeluftkühler zuständig) - Partikelfilter Drucksensor > unplausibles Signal To be fair, es kommt schonmal vor, dass nach einer größeren "Operation" verschiedene Sensoren spinnen und von alleine nach der Warmlaufphase wieder funktionieren... deswegen habe ich den Partikelfilter Drucksensor erstmal nicht beachtet und meinen Fokus auf die Kühlmittelpumpe A gelegt Ich habe also das übliche "Prüfverfahren" durchgeführt (Spannung, Masse, Stecker geprüft) Ohne Ergebnis Pumpe defekt? Hmm...aktuell nicht lieferbar und kein Lagerbestand... Egal, Feierabend😎 (Ich dachte halt gestern Abend so "Ach, da kümmert sich der Zukunfts Maxi drum, der regelt meistens besser als der Gegenwart Maxi") Heute morgen dann wieder ans Auto und nochmals den Schaltplan geholt: Beide Bauteile liegen zwar baulich nah beieinander, bekommen aber unterschiedlich ihre Versorgung...warte mal...liegen nah beieinander...oh fuck me hard... Ich ziehe den Stecker vom Partikelfilter Drucksensor ab: -Dreipolig mit Aussparung oben links Ich ziehe den Stecker der -Kühlmittelpumpe A ab: Dreipolig mit Aussparung oben links 😵😵😑😑 Ich stecke als den Stecker der vorher auf dem Sensor gesessen hat, auf die Pumpe und umgekehrt, gehe ans Auto, lese erneuert Fehlercodes aus, lösche die vorhandenen oben erwähnten Codes die sich vorher nicht löschen ließen und: Ein Summen aus dem Motorraum signalisiert mir, dass die Pumpe arbeitet, im gleichen Moment zeigt mir mein Laptop, dass alle Systeme einwandfrei funktionieren und KEIN Fehler mehr abgelegt ist... FUCK ME!!!!! ICH HATTE DIE FUCKING STECKER VERTAUSCHT... aber... aber... WARUM MACHT MAN ZWEI GLEICHE STECKER FÜR VERSCHIEDENE BAUTEILE DIE AUCH NOCH SO FUCKING NAH NEBENEINANDER SITZEN??? INSCHENIÖR!!!!! DU PFEIFE!!!!!!!!!! Ja...das war ein toller Moment... Und den wollte ich gerne mit euch teilen😅 Und jetzt recherchiere ich nach dem Inscheniör und schnitz ein wenig an meinem Baseballschläger herum 🤝 Danke fürs Lesen Euer Maxi 🔧⚾
