@Gods_WarriorUSA I am asking for prayer for tomorrow . Having an Epidural in my neck to try to get the use of my arm muscles back. I’m in a chair because of my legs and now I found out my arms are extremely painful because of the cartilage in my cervical are worn down . 🙏🏻😫

The scariest part is not that you are hurting. It is that you are getting used to living without expecting God to move. “And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?” Genesis 18:13 KJV Sarah laughed, but it was not the laugh of joy. It came from a heart that had carried hope for a long time and had learned to protect itself from further hurt. That is one reason this moment is so gentle and searching. The Lord heard what no one else could fully hear. He did not miss the hidden ache under the reaction and He knew the weariness. When He brought her laughter into the open, He was not being cruel. He was drawing unbelief into the light where grace could meet it. We do the same kind of hiding. We may not say outright that God cannot help us, but we let disappointment settle in so deeply that trust begins to thin out. We lower our expectations and stop asking plainly. We keep outward order while inwardly assuming that this particular burden will remain unchanged. Yet Christ is kind to weak believers. He does not turn away from frail faith. He knows how discouragement can cloud the heart. The Lord who exposed Sarah’s laughter also kept His promise to her. He was not driven off by her weakness. That should steady us. We do not need to pretend before Him. We can bring the thing we half-fear to name. We can tell Him where trust has grown thin. He already knows, and He does not despise the honest soul that comes to Him.
