@usamakbhatti بھائی مترادف الفاظ ہر زبان میں ہوتے ہیں۔ synonyms کسی زبان کی richness کا کوئی معیار نہیں ہیں۔ اردو میں قریب نزدیک پاس اردگرد انگریزی میں Near Close Proximity Vicinity وغیرہ وغیرہ۔ ہر زبان میں بے شمار مترادف الفاظ گنوائے جا سکتے ہیں۔ richness طے کرنے کے معیارات اور ہوتے ہیں۔

So I know three words for "Near" in Punjabi: Laagay/لاگے Nehray/نیہڑے Kol/کول Pretty rich language, in my opinion.

@piousdeenn What you call the cultural version is very much Islam. Those who say otherwise have been affected by wahhabism/ Khaarjiyat.

We grew up as a muslims but had to relearn islam because we were taught the cultural version.

@UmarCheema1 Sadly it doesn't work. I lost my old fb account, then decided to take it as a sign stop using it actively. But since then X has become my doomscrolling app. I believe there's no escape. There'll always be one app, which we mindlessly tap and spend hours without even noticing.
