Took a trip to the latest outing of @totoro_show and once again felt the pure magic that this show creates. The puppetry, music and performances are like nothing else and the way in which the play is paced holds the emotion of the room with such majesty. Breathtaking.

The way Mei Mac transforms into a child onstage is simply magical. Her cartoonish facial expressions, infectious energy and hilariously blunt yet innocent line delivery never feels cloying or insincere. You never get the feeling she's an adult pretending to be a child.

I can't stop thinking about Totoro. What a magical production. The way they move that huge squirrel-bunny-cat-hybrid-thing! The facial expressions? Unmatched. The level of fluff? Unreal. Catbus? Perfect. The Soot Sprites? Adorable. The smaller Totoros with their wiggly butts? AHH
