They believe that Iran now should publicly call for the building of a nuclear weapon. The religious figures in question would justify building a nuclear bomb on religious grounds, "to defend Islam, and the Islamic Republic". #Iran

Iran has fired missiles at civilian areas, including weapons that scatter smaller explosives over wide zones, putting more civilians at risk. The U.S. and Israel on the contrary, target military sites and terrorist groups. This is the difference between targeting threats and spreading fear. History will judge these choices. Point is that, yes, South Pars was an escalation in American/Israeli targeting, but it comes after weeks of Iranian attacks on GCC energy infrastructure.

In all likelihood, the United States gave #Israel permission to attack the Pars gas fields in #Iran after getting the consent of most GCC countries. Because they would have to face the consequences of Iranian retaliations against their energy infrastructure.
