Of all the awful, stupid things they've done, this is what's going to cost them the most. They wouldn't listen to people and they wouldn't do anything for them. They didn't even send the checks they promised.

I think the thing that really fucked everything was not helping people recover from covid, letting price gouging run rampant, making ordinary people struggle while gaslighting them with propaganda about how the economy is actually doing great, stupid.
