@Davidxvx @jacindaardern Happy to hear @jacindaardern calling out foreign influence dis/misinformation. It’s so hard for New Zealanders to believe that such things have arrived here, but they have, and if we’re going to beat it, we need to first say its name.

It's good to see an uncompromising but future-focused position from @jacindaardern. There must be no normalising of the violent, racist, dishonest extremists that sucked people into an orbit of self-destructive delusion outside Parliament.

One of the purposes of Te Tiriti o Waitangi was to give Māori the protection of the Crown in the face of settler abuse. So when the govt upholds the mana of Māori in a way that upsets many Pākehā, it’s most likely that the Crown is doing its job.
