@sekirodubi Directors are allowed to try what feels "higher value" and more epic, and then change their mind and go back. It happens all the time. I'm not saying that's necessarily the case here, I just don't think "DS showed 'progression'" as an argument holds weight before we see "ER2".

Also for me the excuse of “but DeS” is a cope when it comes to ERs cinematic. For me there’s enough proof this was a change once the game got a whole new lore. They prob didn’t have time to have ppl recording at the studio last minute.

“Y’all” demon souls is a game from 2009. Elden Ring not only is a game from 2022… it has a whole Dark Souks trilogy of precedent of good intro cutscenes. There’s also the cut intro audio in ER. It’s obvious this is a last minute change. Also Story Trailer…

He'll give animals minus points for being boring or small, or for using evolutionary tactics like mass "suicide", even though these are great tools used by very important animals.

@nicodelort Yeah, but I love how he starts out as the big exposition guy. I was so glad to have someone just give me a big heap of info early on. But by the end of the game he has become something completely different. Great character, love him.

@nicodelort Yeah! I love that! The farmers in Italy and urchins of Rome didn't know what was actually going on in the senate. All they got was someone dying and some other people saying "Oh no, that's because of taxes and musicians". Gideon seems like the only reliable one, until he isn't.

Sorry, world, this is not up for debate. Fahrenheit is just better for daily temperature. Both Celsius and Fahrenheit acknowledge the utility of measuring across 0-100 scales—Celsius just does it for water. But that’s useless for daily temperature, bc the air never boils.
