now that ive tinkered with some more tools, im finally settling back into making more exploration-focused hytale biomes here, towering cliffs of white stone signify passes from one valley to the next. paths wind through trork structures, lined by leaves and occasional fences

Idea that came to my mind, could it be possible to load prefabs without being able to place them? This would be like a schematica? Obviously this would need to be server controlled, but I think it would be generally accepted. Would probably need to be client side. Thoughts?

| - Byte Crashers: Jungle Jam - | I really liked the vibe this Minigame Mod gives off that the @gincogg team made, plus the character designs of the Exoshells and the Disco Octopus looked so amazingly cool. I wanted to make a drawing about them, and I think it turned out pretty decent. Also, the OST is peak, and the mod is extremely fun to play with friends!!! I'm excited to see what more they make in @Hytale #Hytale #art #fanart

Big technical updates for Hytale! 🛠️ The Hytale team is using a "Chapter" system to roll out World Gen v2 (WG2). 🔸The team will be using "temporary world visits" to test World Gen v2. 🔸We will see the "real" Orbis in slices of 2–3 biomes per visit. 🔸WG2 will be constantly updated throughout this testing phase. 🔸Players will jump between WG1 and WG2 to keep all zones relevant. 🔸This transition is tied to the lore, which Simon says will make perfect sense by Chapter 2!

@4lexandreeee @slikey @LadySandraPon I agree, there's also a thing where when you switch between a custom position camera and a offset from player camera, the camera will zoom in towards the player and then move back outwards

@slikey @LadySandraPon Thank you! I think it might be a limitation with the current Server Cameras, using a lerp speed of 1 still gives that animation, and going past 1 quickly becomes glitchy, a way to disable lerp would be great

Hytale added scripted trigger volumes :D This can be used for all kinds of stuff. Now we just need location marking like this for plugins and mods to reference positions in the world with custom data. We used something like that for @gincogg's Byte Crasher.

Presenting Byte Crashers: Jungle Jam a @Hytale Minigame Mod by @gincogg Byte Crashers is a 4 player game, where you play as a creature called an Exoshell. In this edition you play on a board themed around a jungle temple. Each player has a turn to roll a die and move along the board, after every player has had their turn, a minigame is played to give out coins based on performance. First to 200 coins wins!
