The Bulls saying that they won't hire a GM who doesn't want Billy Donovan is 100% bad process and is rightfully being called out as such. That said, I don't foresee it having much, if any, impact on the hiring process because he's a very good coach and easy to get along with.

What exactly has Billy Donovan done as a BULL to have this type of job security. I’ll never say he’s the worst coach but nothing he’s done warrants this level of job security. What GM/president wants to take over the reigns of this team and not be able to choose their head coach.

It just doesn’t make sense to me At the end of the day I don’t think Billy Donovan is that bad of a coach (he should go back down to college) But if you clean out your front office, you clean out the coaching staff too and let your new GM pick his head coach Common sense

Reinsdorf REALLY blew it in his press conference today. I'll withhold my judgment until the hire is made -- maybe a good candidate will buy into Billy. But for now, Michael made a very attractive job less attractive with his demand that Billy be HC. Sad. #ChicagoBulls #SeeRed

I was THRILLED when the Bulls fired Artūras Karnišovas and Marc Eversley because I thought there was the SLIGHTEST chance that Michael Cared about the Bulls and would give a big check to a VP+GM. But the Bulls are FINDING ANY excuse not to open the check book This isn’t a desirable job - Bad Ownership - Can’t pick your own HC - No Star players - MAYBE a top 10 pick - Bottom 3 roster

@BullsCentralYT Even when OKC Thunder were rebuilding, they didn't miss Billy Donovan whatsoever. They even won lot of games against us when they were in rebuild mode when we wasn't. Hence, outcoached. I dont understand these passes & job security he gets that when thibs who was better didnt get
