4/ KV: Do you optimise for upside, cultural importance, or historical positioning? B: All three, but the work dictates which category it falls into. For example, I think something like Rare Pepes or Lost Robbies actually touch on all three of these categories. My preferences here have evolved over time, and I think a lot of the works I would categorise as "historic" are now difficult to obtain - though I guess on a long enough timeframe this will all end up being considered some flavour of historic. Today's Rare Pepe Set Lesson™️ is the Egyptian God Collection. The creator of the cards is unknown. These are original artworks that remix Egyptian mythology with Pepe imagery. They connect to each other via the text on the cards. For example GODAMUNRA rules over ISIS, ANUBIS, HEQET, KEK, KEKUI, and Glen (what the heck, delete). And obeys GODALIEN. The creator burned an increasing amount of each card 9 years ago which made it a 1 of 1 set. The 6 cards are: Series 11, Card 34 - KEKUI which is a 1/200 card with a circulating supply of 25. Current floor price: .045 BTC ($2,974 USD). Series 13, Card 46 - GODDESSHEQET which is a 1/100 card with a circulating supply of 5. Last sold in January 2025 for $55,000 USD. Series 14, Card 33 - GODDESSISIS which is a 1/100 card with a circulating supply of 4. Has never been sold. Series 15, Card 17 - GODANUBIS which is a 1/100 card with a circulating supply of 4. Has never been sold. Series 15, Card 38 - GODAMUNRA which is a 1/100 card with a circulating supply of 2. Has never been sold. Series 20, Card 36 - GODALIEN which is a 1/100 card with a circulating supply of 1. Has never been sold. The only complete set of these cards is in the burn address 1BurnPepexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxAK33R. The one available full set was last complete two years ago in an @EmblemVault. But then the vault was cracked and the cards were spread across wallets like desert sand in a wind storm. As of this writing, the creator's wallet holds 3 of 6 cards, another wallet holds 2 of 6 and nineteen wallets hold 1 of 6. Will the full set of 6 ever be brought back together in a single wallet? Only Kek knows for sure.
