Point out for me in this document where Robinson appellants say the will seek rehearing. The ask for the "opportunity to consider seeking rehearing". What Alito said in the Order: "And while the Robinson appellants oppose it, they have not expressed any intent to ask this Court to reconsider its judgment." Alito is 100% accurate. Seven other Justices agreed with him -- as made clear by the fact that none joined Jackson's Statement. supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/24/2…
Sam Levine@srl

It's a bit buried in legalese but this request essentially suggests Justice Alito lied yesterday when he said the Robinson appellants had not shown an interest in requesting a rehearing.

Same Magistrate. Profusely apologetic to Luke Denny over the fact that he was "lost" by the District Court after his unlawful transport from Texas to DC -- he didn't get a Prelim. Hrg first -- and no Court appearance after he arrived in DC for nearly 3 months. Wasn't indicted within 30 days as required. I filed a motion to dismiss and for immediate release from custody. But before there could be a hearing the Govt obtained an indictment on one count, and a Magistrate doesn't have authority to dismiss an indictment. Mag. Faruqui said he was prepared to grant the motion -- until Govt obtained indictment, and then his hands were tied, which the Govt knew would happen. Gave me a chance to call SDNY AUSA "legally illiterate" for an argument she made.

Now that we have a judge apologizing to a defendant (who tried to assassinate the President) over his "treatment" in jail... I'd like to know when ANY of these judges apologized to any of the J6 defendants who were unfairly treated during their "due process." I'm assuming that never happened.

I am challenging any death penalty opponent — there are millions of them, allegedly — to step up to the plate right now and explain why this guy should not be executed. His guilt is established beyond any doubt whatsoever. His crime is utterly savage and heinous. Tell us why he doesn’t deserve to die. Go ahead.

Our smartest people are still scary smart but they aren’t professors or in politics. They work in finance or software. A smart private equity guy is SMART. Before fiat went crazy, they’d be in chemical engineering. Jane Street quants would be working on the manhattan project.
Roman Helmet Guy@romanhelmetguy

For the past century or so, our smart people have been getting dumber. This has been masked by the fact that the average person was getting smarter. But now the average person is getting dumber.

A white male New York ‘Times’ employee filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleging the paper had discriminated against him by not giving him a promotion because he is a white male. On Tuesday, the EEOC, now controlled by a Trump appointee who has vowed to help wage the president’s war against DEI culture, filed a civil-rights lawsuit against the ‘Times’ arguing that the paper’s efforts to satisfy its diversity goals amounted to “unlawful employment practices.” The paper itself was first to break the news of the suit but did not name the employee who made the complaint. Reporters at the paper have been scrambling to figure out the employee’s identity, driven in part by bafflement that one of their own colleagues would sell out the paper to the administration, which has used tools of the federal government to attack the press. “This has been kind of a shitshow behind the scenes — people trying to figure out who the aggrieved person is,” said another ‘Times’ staffer. The release of the complaint on Tuesday narrowed the speculation to Bryant Rousseau, a senior editor and producer on the ‘Times’’s international desk who has been with the paper for more than a decade. I'm struggling to understand how anyone at NYMag thinks this framing is ok? Basically they're suggesting: 'How DARE a white man -- who was allegedly discriminated against for the color of his skin -- complain?'

This should hit a bit different now that court documents show the fire Burr was talking about was set by another Luigi Mangione fan. Bill promoted the exact ideology that led to 12 being killed & sucked up to the Dems for their crappy response

Your money is being stolen out of your pocket and put into the hands of people defrauding the government. The Daily Wire is serving up the receipts—now President Trump and Vice President Vance can wipe out this widespread fraud for good.

94 Medicaid "home health" companies purport to occupy this office building, taking more than $66 million of your money. They provide free butlers to immigrants. "No windows on the outside hides the fact that there's no one on the inside." There's an entire street of these.

So… There’s Medicaid fraud but no voter fraud. There’s welfare fraud but no voter fraud. There’s daycare fraud but no voter fraud. There’s hospice fraud but no voter fraud. Everywhere we look there’s major fraud but no voter fraud? Voter fraud allowed all the other frauds.
