I’ve been grading any Ohtani from any set or year that can gem. I have 70% Gem rate by following these simple principles 1. Don’t lie to yourself. It’s a 10 or it isn’t 2. Look at centering BEFORE anything else. Corners and edges don’t mean anything if centering is off 3. LED light to check surface
