🌍 Applications are now open for the 7th Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Course – A One Health Challenge! From November 9–13, 2026, the @MerieuxFdn and @univ_paris_cite will bring together global experts and 40 selected participants at Les Pensières Center for Global Health in France for five days of deep learning, collaboration, and capacity building. Collective action and progress continue to move us forward. The Africa CDC West Africa Regional Coordinating Centre (WA RCC) participated in the Réseau Ouest Africain des Laboratoires (RESAOLAB) Phase 3 Closing Symposium in Dakar, Senegal. The symposium reinforced the importance of regional coordination, cross-border data sharing, and interoperable laboratory and surveillance systems to strengthen preparedness, response, and AMR surveillance across West Africa.

The Mérieux Foundation has updated its logo. This evolution follows the combining of the two foundations created by the Mérieux family. A new logo, an unchanged mission: driving long-term improvements in global public health.

CEPI is partnering with the @UKHSA and @MerieuxFdn through two new framework agreements aimed at strengthening biosecurity capacities in the DRC, supporting CEPI’s existing R&D partners in the region. 📸 CEPI's Director of Biosecurity, Andrew Hebbeler, signing the new partnership with Fondation Mérieux on the sidelines of UNGA 2025.

This agreement aims at supporting countries in enhancing laboratory governance, boosting surveillance systems, promoting the responsible use of diagnostic resources to combat epidemic-prone pathogens & #AMR , and expanding the use of digital tools for public health monitoring.
