🚨 JUST IN: @AnthropicAI's Claude AI just cracked a post-quantum encryption candidate that survived 2 years of expert review. It took the AI 60 hours. The details 👇 The target: HAWK, a lattice-based signature scheme under review in NIST's post-quantum standardization process. Claude, working semi-autonomously with one researcher (not even a lattice specialist), found a hidden symmetry in HAWK's lattice that two years of human review missed. What that symmetry does: → Effective key strength: cut in half → Attack cost on HAWK-256: 2^64 down to 2^38 → Key recovery attacks: meaningfully faster → Total cost of the discovery: ~$100K of compute The context that matters: HAWK is a candidate. Deployed nowhere. The finalized NIST standards, ML-DSA and ML-KEM, came through untouched. This is exactly why NaoX was built on the standards that survived the gauntlet, not the candidates still in it. ML-DSA-87 signing, verified natively by the chain, live today. AI just made cryptographic scrutiny faster. It also just proved which foundations hold. NaoX is standing on them🔐 Slowly, then suddenly. The world will rely on post-quantum cryptography. Do you see?
