@Shteyngart Just the phrase "trapped next to a libertarian" is enough to induce a panic attack.

This reminds me of the time I was trapped next to a libertarian on a flight from Warsaw who wanted to explain in excruciating detail why the Polish economy was better than our own. I was like “Mister, I have to stare at my watch for the next 8 hours to ensure its accuracy.”

@paulghammond Definitely not weird! One thing to check is what kind of windows/ soundproofing they have. I was booked into a Times Square hotel for a recording gig I did, and it was great. It's like staying in an amusement park, but you've gotta be able to shut out the noise when you want to.
