@NordVPN It's fine. I normally only use the laptop for work related things but was curious to try if the VPN worked. It works on all my mobile devices, which is what I need it for, so it's good.

Just tried using @NordVPN on my laptop at work and discovered it can't start because it can't authenticate log in through the restricted wifi, so I can't use the VPN. Wonder if that also happens if I'm in China or other restricted networks?

Just finished watching @KhemjiraSeries and wish I’d watched it earlier. It was such an amazing series. Possibly my favourite series released in 2025. Missed the Golden Time concerts. Watching a low quality recording of it as the stream replay period ended.

Curious to see what benefits @AmexAU will have for Platinum Charge cards, in 2026. I've rather enjoyed having Amazon Prime, so it's sad to see it gone. The various benefits for AU cardholders (or at least, the ones I use) seem to be decreasing every year.

Watching @Lovesick2024. I barely remember the original Love Sick. #AlmondProgress, and the rest of the cast, did well. It's enjoyable. Though I'd have liked to see a bit more of the secondary characters. Their stories felt underdeveloped.

Finally getting around to watching @BoysInLoveTH. It's a cute, feel-good series. Liking #LukeMick and #ChokunAston.

Just finished watching @RevampSeriesTH and loved it. #BoumPrem was fantastic. Really enjoyed watching the rest of the cast too, especially Barcode and Stamp. Would love to see them as more than just side characters. Aun too.

Switching to @Telstra via JB HiFi was a mistake. Often getting no 5G reception indoors, in areas with 5G. Falls back to 4G with “full” reception but data is sometimes slower than 2G… As soon as my contract is over (in ~10 months), I’m switching back to Optus or Vodafone.

Happy to see @Revolut acting fast and refunded the fraudulent transaction in only 2 days. Their services are too useful for me to give up, so I’m glad it got resolved really quickly. I’ll just have to freeze my cards whenever I’m not using them, so this can’t happen again.

Annoyed. Woke up to a fraudulent @Revolut transaction. I don’t know how their system wasn’t smart enough to recognise that I’ve been accessing it from Australia, never used Euros or exchanged with Euros, so a sudden Uber charge from Europe should’ve been a red flag and blocked.

@_sjohn_ @Revolut My point was that it should’ve recognised that I’ve never used Euros in the app or card before, and that raises questions of whether it’s legitimate when there’s a sudden transaction that’s abnormal for my account’s 5 year history.

@_sjohn_ @Revolut I have no Euros exchanged, and only used it in Asia. It had to use the Asian currencies I’ve exchanged to fund the transaction. Other banks would’ve blocked and checked the first transaction that happens in a different country to usual transactions.

@_sjohn_ @Revolut Still, I understand it can be difficult, especially so close to holiday periods. I’m just going to keep my cards always frozen until I actually need to spend with it, as a future precaution.

@MeshForce @Revolut This stuff is difficult. It can seem like ‘obvious’ fraud but it could have also been you who travelled, used another card for the plane, etc but after landing in Europe, you used Revolut to pay for your Uber.

This time, it was a small amount, only €40 but what if it was a bigger amount, and continued charging when I was asleep? All my money could’ve potentially been used without my authorisation, and the app wasn’t smart enough to notice none of my devices were with the card?

Immediately disputed the transaction but now, I’m wondering if it’s worth continuing with my Metal plan. If @Revolut couldn’t recognise this obvious fraud, can I still trust them with my money?

Hope @Maccas customer service will give me the 2 collectibles, or give me another solution. I only wanted the Grinch Collectibles. I wouldn't have spent $40 for the meals otherwise.

Super annoyed with @Maccas. Ordered 2 sets of The Grinch Meal just for the collectibles but I stupidly didn't check inside the bag before going home. The girl giving out orders didn't give me the collectibles! Couldn't even complain through the app. Had to use the website…

So the @SydneyAirport website seemed to temporarily expose other people's accounts, though when I tapped on My details, it refreshed instead of actually letting me see the details.

Ridiculous that @SydneyAirport’s parking website won’t actually work for pre-booking with the Black Friday discount. I’ve been trying all day, and it keeps spitting out “An unexpected error has occurred”.

Catching up on all of the #GMMTV2026 announcements. So many things happening next year! It’s going to be an exciting year from @GMMTV. Looking forward to it!
