I'm Atoosa. I'm a first gen student from Iran, the first in my family to go to college. I came here for my PhD. I was so confused and lost at first, but I learned little by little and worked really hard. I left home, missed years of my little sister growing up. She's 9 now. People say she acts like me and I don't even know how. I wasn't there for most of it. I paid that cost because I believed that if I just kept working hard enough, things would work out. And they did. I'm almost done with my PhD at Maryland. I do AI research. I have a job offer I'm proud of. I had a plan for this year. But USCIS paused work authorization and immigration benefits for people born in Iran. And now none of what I did matters. It's not about my research or how hard I try anymore. It's just about where I was born. I have never felt like things were so out of my hands. And I keep thinking about everything I gave up to be here, my sister growing up without me, years of my life, and I honestly don't know if it was worth it. Was thinking about $eth today. $eth has almost no presence in everyday finance right now. Real world hasn’t adapted $eth at all. No banks settle payments on $eth. No major retailer uses it. No payroll systems run on it. No consumer-facing financial product depends on it. Tokenization is still mostly experiments in pilot phase. Not in production systems. $eth current valuation is based on future expectations, not present utility/reality. Time is running out boys.
