I've been sooo addicted to Hero Siege. Genuinely such a good ARPG. The crazy loot, awesome skill trees, plethora of classes and deep endgame systems are all just superb. If you are an ARPG enjoyer, I can't recommend it enough. Also its currently less than $3 on steam.

Without thinking hard these are my top 10 RPGs / action-adventure games of the past decade (let's say since 2015): Baldur's Gate 3 - Larian took the CRPG genre to a whole new level & raised our standards for what we expect out of full priced games. If you don't like that... well too bad we can just keep playing BG3 for the rest of our lives 🤣 Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 - Immersion & history at its finest. Some of the most interesting authentic characters in gaming history. Very unique game. Elden Ring - Fun, fun, challenging and whoa Dark Souls open world!? Hell yeah. What an experience! Crimson Desert - Have not had this much excitement for open-world exploration & item hunting since Skyrim. It's making the list. Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon - Finally a competent passionate studio that was willing to take on the "scrolls like" formula but in their own unique way. Dark fantasy for the win. Excited to see what this studio does next. Outward - Janky & low budget but from a game design perspective it was the perfect game to smack me in the face & wake my ass up during a time where my brain was suffering from the Ubisoft disease. Divinity Original Sin 2 - As a fan of the crpg genre this style of sandbox CRPG was made for me. One of the GOATs. Larian is one of the most creative fun studios in the industry. The next Divinity is currently my most anticipated game. Bloodborne - Challenging gothic medieval... what's not to love (except 30 FPS 🤣). I will never forget this game & it is the game that made me a HUGE FromSoft fan. As a souls noob at the time I must have died over 50 times just trying to get past the big bonfire in the first area... & I absolutely loved it. Witcher 3 - A generational game. Has its major flaws such as the Witcher senses playing the game for you, but man what a world, characters, & story it has! Hogwarts Legacy - A game that is generic and dumbed down in so many ways... but then greatly excels in other ways. Without the nostalgic factor I don't think it comes even close to my top list, but there's just no denying how incredible of a feeling it was jumping into that world again. The devs deserve major credit for that. Three bonus games: Dragons Dogma 2 - Hate me but as someone who greatly values exploration in games, this open- world was fantastic. Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous - I really enjoyed it but never finished it so it goes into the bonus section for now. Regardless it still really stands out in my memory! Owlcat knows how to go deep & I hope we get another Pathfinder one day. Cyberpunk 2077 - Also didn't finish but there was something about the 60 hours or so that I did play that made me want to include it in this post. Immersion is off the charts, & it's cool to experience this immersion in a futuristic metropolis setting. Will return to it one day! If you disagree with any of my picks, just meet me in the Walmart parking lot today at sun down & we will get that settled. #gaming

@JeffNadu You are going waaaaaaaaaaay too easy. I was thinking more like a cheese grater kinda situation with adrenaline IV so he can't pass out from the pain, and has to feel every single second of unfathomable agony until his body finally shuts down for good.

First we should go to his cell, cuff him up and walk him out and down the hall to a door that leads to a yard, where a camera is placed on a tripod. We then order him to get on his knees. We say to the camera "this is what will happen to any person that assaults, strangles and kills children" A person that comes into view with a long knife, The person then proceeds to cut off both of this shit bags arms at the elbow joint. The person then moves to the neck where the goal is to quickly sever his carotid artery, laughter comes as it's cut and blood shoots out like a fountain, and moments later his head is completely off. This should be the end for all the motherless fucks like this subhuman.

Mortal Shell Is a CRIMINALLY underrated soulslike. So what is the issue? Back then, people unrealosticly expected an Elden Ring like level of gameplay depth and content, and were baffled that a 30e game, made by like 4 people... Wasnt. Platinumed it TWICE. Recommended.

@arfa2706 Dude what? Elden Ring combat is mediocre at best, and that is really generous. Like NioH is S tier, 2nd to none. We don;t play Elden Ring for the combat, its probably like the 2nd worst thing about the game. Do people really think Elden Ring has amazing combat?

Is there any other open world game with good combat? Like, besides Elden Ring and Nioh 3 maybe And I said GOOD combat, don't bring me Ghost of Tsushima or The Witcher Grand majority of open world games are RPG heavy where they feed you lots of content, but lack good gameplay.

@Sebbywebz Man I love this game haha. Gambit system was so cool, felt like getting to program the actions of your own team, and then see them follow those orders in real time. Was fun and super different to anything else I had played up to that point.

The drop-off in quality after Final Fantasy X needs to be studied #FFXII

Just wrapped up Resident Evil 9. Really fun game, like a mesh of Resident Evil 4 and 7. Would recommend. And just in time, cause Crimson Desert comes out in a few days. Looking forward to it

Life is full of injuries. I had 16 months of pain in my left hip area - that was a giant question mark as to a. WTF it even was (did tons of diagnostic injections, treatments, months of acu/ Chiro/ massage/ Cryo), mris, etc) and b. How to make it feel ok. I’d feel it every time I sang, screamed; I couldn’t even lay on my back on it. For 16 months! No matter your sport, your hobby - proper lifting is good for you. I advise learning it properly from a coach or a friend who knows it real dang well. I tried constant physio/ PT - and it really wasn’t until I started putting the muscles, tendons, bones, and the nervous system under proper stress and use. For my first 10 years of BJJ the saying was “you just need Jiu Jitsu”. And I know that was the same dialogue for yoga; but I can tell you that yoga benefits from lifting, BJJ benefits from lifting, your body and your mind and your bones benefit from lifting. I’m thankful to my S&C coach and my nutrition coach for helping me insulate and protect myself for everything I do and optimize my life.
