Maybe playing 1/2 your team out of position WASN’T the best way to field a great defensive roster….

@genethelawyer @bunnnytiger Someone else pointed it out, but he got injured running the bases and not in the field so if he isn't 100% by Tuesday I'd consider the 10 day IL so he can recover fully.

It's good news that Soto just has a minor calf strain, but those can be tricky. Hopefully they play it safe this early in the season so that he can be as close to 100% as possible before pushing it. #LGM

@MsMet5 But Harrelson could do the little things; get on base, bunt, steal bases, etc. His WAR was 20.3, Rey's was 1.2.

Great defensive SS, maybe the best ever to play for the Mets...but he's also the same guy that said this: "The fans here are too stupid," Ordonez told The Post (in 2002). "You have to play perfect every game. You can't make an error. You can't go 0-for-4. Are we like (expletive) machines?" I loved watching him play the field, but once he stepped in the batter's box, he became one of the most frustrating players ever. Couldn't run the bases well, either.
