The memecoin launchpad, @fasterdotfun, will be going live later today on MegaETH $METH, however, will not be launching at this time The difference between $METH and many other memecoins is simple: $METH was never designed as a short-term pump It’s a project built with a long-term vision, where every decision is made deliberately The reality is that, if we stay pragmatic and don’t fool ourselves, launching $METH today would most likely turn it into a one-week memecoin, sitting around $2–3M market cap, with a lot of people getting rekt along the way That’s not what we want and not the image we want for $METH We have much bigger ambitions $METH aims to build something solid, sustainable over time, and capable of going well beyond a $50–100M market cap, not a quick run followed by a dump Our priority has always been the same : Protect the community, avoid a bad launch and never force something just because “the launchpad is live” $METH is about longevity, not noise If the conditions aren’t right for a healthy and durable launch, we’re willing to wait Thank you to everyone who understands the approach and is here for the long term
