Thanks to the phenomenal advocates at BUILD, SB937—the Maryland Fair Chance in Housing Act—is now headed to the House! This bill creates real second chances by expanding access to housing for individuals with prior convictions.

It's crossover day, and we have more progress to report! Fair Chance Housing passed the full senate, 32-10, with a bipartisan vote this afternoon. The bill now heads to the House. More work ahead! Thank you @ShanekaHenson @Willcsmithjr @SenBillFerg for your leadership!
