@JustinCLeto No I read it. Asking one of your longest tenured/best players if he wants to “be a part of the team’s future” is condescending. I don’t understand why everyone is dumping on this guy. I’m not in the clubhouse so I’m not going to speculate about him sulking or his leadership role

6.8 bWar in 2024, 2nd in MVP voting (lost to Ohtani), 5.8 WAR last year, future HOFer… yeah let’s trade him. This fanbase is delusional. These types of players don’t grow on trees and so help me god if I have to watch Ronny whiff on a back foot sliders for the next 5 years
Justin@JustinCLeto

I have alwasy loved Lindor. I was there when he hit the grand slam against the Phillies in 2024. Any time any of my friends complain and say he should be traded, I vehemently disagree. He should have been part of the future whenever this team puts together a winner. But I am now questioning it all. His body language. His effort. His voice in interviews. His entire aura. It’s flawed and he seems not to care. Not sure what is going on with Lindor but it may be time for the @Mets brass to sit him down and ask him if he wants to be a part of this team’s future. If he says yes, he should be told to begin to act like a leader and help this team encourage the new guys and be prepared every day as an example to them. If he says no, give him what he wants and trade him. Either way, something needs to change. The status quo will not work. The Mets have an amazing young group and they need more guys encouraging them and teaching them the way Soto is instead of someone sulking because he isnt the captain. It’s time for a conversation.

@AnthonyDiComo Mauricio struggles with the breaking stuff worse than anyone I’ve seen in a long time. It’s an automatic whiff. It’s like year 3 make the adjustment
