Deeply frustrating outing for Nolan McLean and easily the worst start of his young career, but one rough night does not change the kind of pitcher he is or can become. Every young pitcher goes through bumps and growing pains at the major league level. Nolan has already shown flashes of why so many people are excited about his future, and there’s still a ton of confidence in him moving forward. He should learn from this one and bounce back.
