Wrong. Many did vote for Biden in hopes of getting rid of Trump. Then Biden moved far right and continued too many of Trump's policies. As a result millions of people who voted for Biden in 2020 were unwilling to vote for Biden or Harris in 2024--and will probably be more reluctant to vote for Democrats who support Republican policies in the future.
