At Tekedia Capital, we recently celebrated our first official unicorn. We invested in this company at launch in Q4 2024, and just last week, it raised an additional $160 million, crossing the billion-dollar valuation mark.
Within this quarter, we expect another unicorn milestone as one of our portfolio companies completes its latest fundraising. This one is particularly remarkable; we invested at a $5 million valuation, and it is now worth $1 billion with minimal dilution.
Good People, there is abundance in the future. Beginning Monday, as the next Tekedia Capital cycle opens, we will be deploying capital into 18 global startups.

I'm going to call this right now. We are going to have a large population with absolutely no critical thinking skills if they blindly trust AI for everything. We have all already seen it. They don't validate outputs. They don't really understand anything. They just ask questions, it looks good, and they go with it. There are going to be huge issues in every company as this continues over the years. The amount of technical debt and knowledge gaps are going to be insane. So much opportunity if you actually know what you're doing.

Temple has raised its first round. Friends and family. $54m. Post-money valuation of ~$190m. Every investor in this round is a founder friend or early-stage Zomato investor who wanted in, whether or not Temple ever makes it to market. Omo, too many backend devs are just too chilled with REST APIs sha 😂 Never touched SOAP? Never touched gRPC? Or GraphQL? If all you do is CRUD apps daily… you’re not really an engineer. Learn how architectures scale, or stay stuck at the same level (and salary) forever.

I Observed a document containing the personal information of over 15 customers, which is then handed to the next individual to complete. This practice appears to pose a risk. Does it adhere to the regulations set forth by the NDPA?

did you instruct your outlet store agents to require customers to write down on a paper form their personal information such as NIN among others? If so, why?
An outlet here mandates them for sim retrieval without actually explaining why.
