Dr. Kirk Milhoan (@KMilhoanMDPhD) reacts to a federal judge pausing ACIP’s work, and we examine real patient stories and how public health should respond to vaccine injuries with Dr. Craig Spencer (@Craig_A_Spencer) & Dr. Akiko Iwasaki (@VirusesImmunity): podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/aci…

🔥Eight years ago, @AaronSiriSG deposed Dr. Stanley Plotkin (the man known as the "Godfather of Vaccines") That deposition became legendary. We have shared it in its totality several times here. Nine hours of the world's foremost vaccine authority being asked simple, basic questions about vaccine clinical trials and safety data, and coming up empty. Plotkin called it "traumatic." He has spent years since trying to undo the damage - lobbying the WHO to declare vaccine hesitancy a global threat, pressuring the CDC to remove the words "brain damage" from the MMR vaccine information statement, holding closed-door meetings to produce studies designed to validate vaccine safety rather than study it. Now, after Siri published his book "Vaccines, Amen," Plotkin finally broke his silence and sent Siri a letter. It does not address the substance of the book. It does not defend the science. It complains about the length of the deposition. And it ends with this: "At the end of my life, I will have been credited for protecting millions of children from disease and even death, whereas you, Mr. Siri, will be responsible for dead and sick unvaccinated children." Siri's response is everything. He reminds Plotkin that he had months to prepare. That his own textbook was open in front of him during the deposition. That when Siri issued a subpoena afterward giving him a second chance to produce documents validating the safety of the childhood vaccine schedule, Plotkin moved to quash it... and produced nothing. He points out that Plotkin's own published words in the New England Journal of Medicine admit that 76% of vaccine safety questions reviewed by the IOM had inadequate evidence, that post-licensure safety studies are underfunded, and that vaccine hesitancy is partly the result of those gaps. And he offers Plotkin a do-over. A full deposition rematch, with as much prep time as he needs, his choice of co-panelists, including Offit and Hotez. One hour per topic. Plotkin never responded. This exchange is a window into everything wrong with modern vaccinology. Read both letters in full. 👉 Aaron Siri's Substack: substack.com/home/post/p-18…
