Congratulations Inspector Qureshi!
The Michigan State Police (MSP) is pleased to announce that Insp. Fahad Qureshi has graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
Inspector Qureshi serves as an assistant district commander assigned to Third District Headquarters and was among the chosen few to attend the 297th Session of the National Academy.
This achievement now places Inspector Qureshi among the nearly 57,000 graduates who have attended the National Academy since its inception in July 1935.
Inspector Qureshi enlisted with the department in 2013, graduating as a member of the 125th Trooper Recruit School. After graduation, he was assigned as a trooper to the Metro Post. Inspector Qureshi has been promoted multiple times within the MSP, serving as a trooper, sergeant, lieutenant, first lieutenant, and inspector. He has served in the Second and Third Districts and within the Special Operations Division.
Inspector Qureshi holds a Master of Business Administration from Cleary University and a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and Bachelor of Arts in political science from Wayne State University. Inspector Qureshi was raised in Monroe and resides in Metro Detroit with his wife and children.
