🚨🚨 $ASTS AST Spacemobile - FCC Docket SAT-LOA-20200413-00034 The FCC has granted AST & Science, LLC authorization to launch and operate a non-geostationary satellite system. This includes deploying 223 additional low-Earth orbit satellites, bringing the total constellation to 248, and performing Supplemental Coverage from Space (SCS) alongside mobile and fixed satellite services. The authorization covers direct-to-cell operations, feeder link services, and telemetry, tracking, and command operations. The satellites will operate at varying altitudes and inclinations. The grant also pertains to AST's spectrum manager leases with AT&T, Verizon, and FirstNet for the provision of SCS.
