I am becoming of the opinion that Marco Rubio would be harder for the Democrats to beat in 2028 than Jd Vance. I like both men and I will vote for whoever wins the primary. But, Rubio's combination of experience and respectability makes him a very hard target for the Democrats. There's almost no opposition research that would work against Rubio. Most attacks would bounce right off him.

John Fetterman's had a 108 pt drop in his net approval with PA Dems since 2023. His net rating is -40 pt net approval with them. His net popularity with his own party is worse than all senators who lost a primary this century. There's no historical analog to his unpopularity.

Imagine the joy of learning the details of the Equal Protection Clause in your second-year Constitutional Law class (you went at night, and the first-year CL course covered the scope of government powers, not individual rights). Imagine taking two electives in Critical Race Theory in your senior year, because you wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Imagine learning that equity calls for abandoning the standard set by the Equal Protection Clause. Imagine starting a podcast called Searching for Political Identity to reflect on what you learned in school, because you’re so torn. Imagine being attracted to Vivek Ramaswamy’s merit and unity message in the 2024 election, and a lightbulb starting to go off. Imagine hearing Ron DeSantis rail about CRT on national television every night while you’re studying it. Imagine watching Ted Cruz engage in a lively discussion with Justice Jackson about it while her appointment to the Supreme Court was being considered. Imagine waking up one day and realizing that the Republicans/the vast majority of MAGA (not the alt/far right people) are not who you thought they were. Imagine the surprise you felt when you found yourself voting for Trump in 2024 because you think he is a strong leader and correct on the culture war. That’s exactly what happened to me.

A key to understanding Leftists is the massive disparity between Leftist intent and Leftist outcomes. Big Chief Lizzie Warren and Pete Boot-edge-edge proudly killed the Spirit/JetBlue merger, with the stated intent of maintaining consumer choice and holding down the cost of airline tickets. As a direct result, now Spirit is dead, consumers have fewer choices, prices are higher than ever and ~14,000 people are without jobs. Leftists base their actions on intent, because intent feels good emotionally. Conservatives base their actions on outcomes, because outcomes are a logical basis for decision making. Logic > emotion. We are not the same.

@game_save234 My wife and I play together a lot so it’s friendly haha but we rarely concede putts beyond tap in range. If I’m playing for money with guys and they concede ok (they want it to work both ways) but no one’s giving up birdies or eagles.
