@MisterPhyzix New Balance Men's 608 V5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer. Seem to be highly recommended.

@michaelcoren Which model, Michael? I'm shopping. Aging, spreading feet, ingrown toenails, minor neuropathy... TMI, I know.
English

@littlehouseblu @RichardHanania That's not the Church of England. Nor did much of Europe observe Papal authority as known today. The Spanish kept him prisoner in Rome; almost all England's RC bishops supported the Henrican break with Rome. Sorry, no idea what you mean with KJV reference.
English

Really? Hmmm, so this never happened?
King Henry VIII established the Church of England in the 1530s primarily because he wanted his marriage to Catherine of Aragon annulled. Through the Acts of Supremacy, he separated the English church from Rome and declared the English monarch, not the Pope, to be the Supreme Head of the Church of England.
Theologically, yes, Henry VIII died holding largely Catholic beliefs. He hated Lutheranism and spent his later years defending traditional Catholic doctrine. But he still died in schism with the Roman Catholic Church after breaking from Rome. That doesn’t contradict anything I said.
And more importantly, it was not King James who “commissioned a Bible so he could divorce.” It was Henry VIII who established a separate church so he could divorce.
English

@littlehouseblu @RichardHanania This would have been news to Henry - who had Protestants executed, and lived and died as a Catholic.
English

@RichardHanania Good grief she’s stupid. It was Henry VIII that broke with the Catholic Church and established the Church of England so he could get an annulment/divorce and marry Anne Boleyn. This was 70ish years before the King James Bible was commissioned.
English

She probably means the King Gary version which was edited so that the monarch could buy a second Ferrari. Common theological mistake.
Richard Hanania@RichardHanania
Anna Paulina Luna tells Rogan that the King James Bible was a bible that was rewritten so that a king could get remarried. How do you even make a mistake like this? You can usually see how stupid people got to their conclusions. She just puts random thoughts together.
English

@FatimaAli1298 Common and documented side effect. "Mara Syndrome".
English

@michaelcoren That is funny, does nitrous oxide often cause random thoughts like mentioning Kate Mara without real memory or reason?
English

@CharlotteCGill Wonderful! And as with all good satire there are some people who think .... well you know what some people think.
English

@wmarybeard @NewStatesman So sorry you have to go through this garbage. I've been targeted several times - the campaigns usually last around 36 hours and then the trolls and bots move to someone else. As you know, it says far more about them than you. God bless.
English

Haters out in force in response to clip from interview I did with @NewStatesman podcast. It's fine to disagree on Roman history (that's partly the point), but do they need to say that I'm "vile", a "hag" & they "hate" me. You dont have to hate those with different views, folks.
English

@patcondell @bluesky I hear that from lots of people. Oh well.
English

@michaelcoren @bluesky Yes, a lot of people are complaining about reduced visibility on this platform, especially recently. I’m not sure what the reason is. I must admit I rarely see your posts.
English

Has @bluesky failed? I rushed to 2300 members but then realized there was no discussion and only brief, limited responses. Hardly bother now.
English

@patcondell @bluesky It's been years! Lovely to hear from you.
Problem is that since it became X I've lost 15,000 followers. Also, my posts simply don't seem to be seen. I used to have 100s, even 1000s, of likes and retweets. It's almost as if I'm being blocked.
English

@michaelcoren @bluesky It was always going to fail, Michael. You belong here.
