@soccerreform Great point since the EPL was formed in 1992 a total of 7 differnt teams have won the league. Since that date 15 MLS teams have won titles, 16 NHL, 16 NFL, 16 MLB and 14 NBA teams. Closed league with shared renevue are more competitive. Prove me wrong.

@soccerreform Let’s compare MLS with the major Euro leagues when it comes to diversity among champions. PSG and Lille in Ligue 1, Bayern Munich in Bundesliga. Any of the leagues. ITS A DIFFERENT CULTURE. You are so disingenuous.

@frenchjraff @Teaks20 @soccerreform So, again, you are asking everyone to ignore every difference in the sporting landscape between the US and England and just accept on faith that changing one thing would make Americans obsessed with minor league soccer.

Bad news, dude: If your kid doesn’t play travel/AAU they have no chance of playing varsity in high school. Only exceptions would be small, rural schools without many players to choose from. Any decent sized high school, every kid on varsity plays travel.

Insane Penalty shoot out at the Butchers Arms. Droylsden beat Maghull 3-2 winning it with the 16th spot kick. Promotion from Non League Tier 10 to Tier 9 in front of 1940 spectators

IPSWICH TOWN ARE BACK IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE 🆙 Kieran McKenna leads The Tractor Boys to their second promotion in three seasons 🔥

With @USL_HQ at a crossroads, history has shown that @MLSNEXTPRO is ready to take the mantle from USL who took it from @naslofficial! For me the question is not if a @USLChampionship team moves to @MLSNEXTPRO D2! But when and how soon!

Dana White can't sell tickets to UFC 328 despite a blockbuster card bc they hitched their entire wagon to Trump who then destroyed the economy. All while they continue to outprice their actual fans. Lowest priced ticket is about $350

As someone involved in the purchase of two European football clubs, I can tell you this: If nobody is interested in buying Whitecaps, the top team in the MLS, who outdraw most teams and win championships, that's an UGLY indictment on the sustainability of the league, not the city

🚨BREAKING: The Vancouver Whitecaps may be moving to Las Vegas: The Club has put out a statement urging local ownership groups to come forward to try and keep them in Vancouver. However the Whitecaps say they have no viable offer at this time that would keep the club from moving. An MLS owners' committee recently discussed relocating the team with Las Vegas being one of the top options.
