Fun fact: Every digital game you have ever purchased on any Nintendo platform ever is still available to re-download. They first started offering such games on the Nintendo Wii, that released in 2006. Any game bought on Switch or Switch 2 digitally, or via key-card - will likely still be available to download 20+ years from now. It's not a problem until it actually happens. ATM, nothing has ever indicated we need to be worried from NIntendo.

It’s the last day of 2025. It feels like a blur for obvious reasons. Haven’t even had Christmas yet as I was watching my son fight for his life this Christmas. But here we are a day before 2026, and our son should be coming home with us by the end of the weekend. I couldn’t honestly ask for a better start to a new year than that, considering we almost lost him. Also at some point in January I will be returning to making videos on my channel. I suspect it’s going to be a bit awkward for me coming back and may take me a few videos to get back into my groove. I hope people understand. I’m also sorry for those that followed me due my son’s journey if you don’t like my content itself. I cover Nintendo news and rumors and the titles and thumbnails aren’t always the best things ever as I play with YouTube’s game of how they share content. But even if as I come back many of you new followers decide to step away, I still want to thank you for while you were here. You prayed for my son. Some of you, having never even heard of me, donated to support our family during this time. I realize you guys may not be around for my thank you’s in my video or streams if you don’t enjoy my content. So I wanted to thank you now even as we aren’t leaving the hospital yet. A new year is upon us and so many of you, even YouTubers who have made fun of my content, have come to my family’s aid. And I am sure eventually those same YouTubers will make fun of my content again, even if out of respect they hold off for a bit at least until we’re removed long enough from what happened. At least I hope so, but I’m a public figure and my content is fair game for criticism. I won’t be back until I know I can handle scrutiny again. That’s my own mental hurdle to get past. But I will be back. That’s my resolution for 2026. That I will be back, and I will drive my channel to new heights in 2026. If nothing else because carrying for my son’s condition just added more monthly bills to my pile. I have lots of motivation to make the next step. More than that, make sure you tell your loved ones that you love them. In 2025, for Christmas, I almost lost my 12 year old boy. You never know what life will bring you in 2026. If I could have lost him, any of us can lose someone way too soon, unexpectedly. So don’t leave words unsaid just because you can’t stand each other right now. Cherish your children if you have them, regardless of how they behave. Hold you partners, parents, grand parents, and siblings close. I am lucky to have the family I do, and the community right here to lift us in our time of need. I know not everyone is that fortunate. My policies still haven’t changed - once we’re further removed from everyone, religion and politics will not be brought up again (I hope, since I never went any of my children to go through this ever again) - but until the time, I thank you for praying for my son and family. Some of you praying for his brother and sister who have been absolutely devastated - the brother witnessing his collapse an emergency ambulance. The sister getting blind sided on Christmas Eve getting dropped off to immediately attend a mass for Christmas dedicated to saving her brothers life, because her bio dad lied to her and said Aiden was fine, when he knew he wasn’t. And we couldn’t be there for her. We promised to bring him home and the promise will be fulfilled for the new year. So thank you everyone. Thank you as donation still trickle in, thank you as some of you are continuing to pray until he can come home. Thank you God and Jesus for if nothing else, providing hope when things were the darkest, and thank you to the incredible medical team that worked 24/7, never leaving his side. Because of so many factors my son is coming home soon. And his father won’t have to completely kill himself, to support them financially right away. I can take some time, be it short or weeks from now, to get my mind right before working again. TY!

This is Aiden. Today he got to open some Christmas Presents, including a big one: a Switch 2 - bought, paid for, and gifted by my YouTube community. He’s in shock and it produced his first smile since coming back to us. He’s wanted us to share a few words with you all: “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe they did that for me. That’s $500! That’s a lot of money dad! Why were they so kind to me? Tell them thank you. Take a photo and tell them thank you right now!” So here we are. A kid that came back from the brink. Shocked, surprised, and happy over a Christmas present like any normal kid. Keep fighting kiddo. You’ll be home soon enough! Now he’s like “I really want DK Banaza dad!” We’ll see what we can do about this maybe as a surprise for another day.
