@CharlesSchwab One small cash account experienced some interesting things. A few days back my account could buy and sell options back and forth without limit when the total buying was under the account holding. After a few days, such trading was not available. Please explain!

Couldn’t beat QJ w my 99 and busted in 6th place for $25,400! Had a really great crew at the Final Table and loved every second of this deep run in the PokerStars Open Main Event… until next time ✌️ @PokerStarsUSA

@boazweinstein For those of us who can’t trade CDX protection directly, what’s the closest retail proxy — HYG puts?

This has to be one of the most bearish charts I’ve ever seen for CDX HY. One can argue that they won’t be as correlated as they’ve always been, but ‘this time is different’ may be wrong . I think investors should and will sell their public credit to derisk when they can’t sell their private credit. Or switch from public (risk without much reward) to something much more balanced even if heading lower.

@_BitcoinCapital @adam3us @sebp888 Nonsense. It’s easy to upgrade a centralized ledger and rollback fraudulent transactions. QC is much more dangerous for crypto because you need a decentralized community to agree on the protocol upgrade and you have exposed wallets to deal with.

@adam3us @nic_carter @dgt10011 @RobbieFrazer One practical problem is that most people who self custody don’t know whether they need to move their coins, or even that they need to. How do you get the word out without causing panic and confusion? Genuinely asking, not criticizing.

@nic_carter @dgt10011 @RobbieFrazer allowing random quantum researchers to steel millions of coins, seems like an implausible approach. bear in mind people would've had a decade to move their coins to quantum ready incrementally. if you haven't move them after that you've lost the coins with very high probability.

If cryptographically relevant quantum computers emerge, how should Bitcoin respond to vulnerable early coins? • ALLOW the protocol to operate as is, accepting that those coins may be claimed by whoever gains the technical capability first? • INTERVENE at the protocol level to immobilize/retire those coins to protect the network’s integrity?

@caprioleio @caprioleio I am extremely grateful to you for your courage. It’s obvious that you are bringing needed attention to the nuanced quantum threat because you actually care about bitcoin. The dismissive attitude and personal attacks from the community are disheartening.

Groundless personal attacks have stepped up. I can only think it's because Bitcoin is shockingly under $85K as the "bull year" of 2025 draws to a close. What happened to $180K Bitcoin? Well if we keep ignoring Quantum, get used to it! Gold added 5x Bitcoin market caps this year, and Bitcoin couldn't add $1? This is a first and it's because the world is discounting the Quantum risk from Bitcoin's value now. 2025 is the first year we entered the Quantum risk event horizon. I can't guarantee how much I will be involved in this movement next year, because I get _nothing_ from it (no nothing financially) except increasing personal attacks. This is not a healthy fight and not how the Bitcoin community used to be. Looking forward to some much needed down time with family, nature and touching grass. The Christmas period is the best time of year. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with your families and loved ones!

Dismissing the Bitcoin quantum threat because “everything is vulnerable” is lazy copium. 1) It’s easy for a centralized entity to upgrade its encryption and freeze/reverse fraudulent activity. You can’t just freeze bitcoin “when it becomes necessary”. 2) The big problem for Bitcoin is the millions of btc belonging to addresses that have exposed public keys. That problem doesn’t have a tradfi analog. @caprioleio @Excellion #bitcoin #quantum

Photronics $PLAB: "We are benefitting from meaningful reshoring of capacity to the United States" Exactly what I highlighted in my original $AMKR & $PLAB thesis in the clip below.
Stock Talk@stocktalkweekly

My thesis on $AMKR & $PLAB is relatively straightforward. They are both easy concessions to make in an attempt to reshore the semiconductor supply chain, with no real domestic peers. You can listen to my full thesis in this recording:

@StonkChris Counter: some stocks with cult followings are just memes, and some are unicorns like HOOD and PLTR. There will always be big drawdowns after parabolic moves, even for unicorns. There are many paths to building wealth, having strong conviction and being right is one of them.

Unfortunately, $IREN is a textbook example of how disconnected retail can be on this platform. You had 3+ years to accumulate this name before the massive breakout and HTF expansion phase began. It’s already up 10x…yet I still see people encouraging buys in the $50–$70 range. Maybe it works out for them — anything’s possible — but let’s be honest: that is not how you build sustainable wealth or manage risk.

I’m all-in. I’m going to be completely and utterly honest here, and this is the gods honest truth. I have sold my entire crypto portfolio (excluding long term $BTC spot that I will never sell). And in the past few hours I have deployed all stables (30%) + and thrown it all on top of my short positions. No joke. As all-in as I can get. Pedal to the metal. Money where my mouth is. I’m either going to make hundreds of millions from my leverage short positions or I will go bust. If I go bust, it’s fine, I will take my BTC spot, cold storage, delete my X account and live off my real estate, and other passive incomes and still drive off into the sun set with my wife and 4 kids. However, if I’m right, which I truly believe I am right, and we go lower $67-92K here’s the deal: 1. I’m wrong - I delete my account forever. 2. I’m right ($92k) - you do a public apology saying James Wynn was correct all along. Deal? Comment deal. If you will adhere to this bet. - Wynn
