Why doesn’t @OpenAI have an offering like Teams for Claude (seat based pricing) for smaller companies. Feels like a massive gap. Only option to get Codex (without pathetic limits) is usage based pricing. I think this packaging gap affects their market share. cc @thsottiaux @sama

I made a Claude skill for setting up Lightning nodes! The skill, run-litd, can set up a wide variety of nodes, full node, pruned node, neutrino back-end, build a remote signer, connect to a remote signer, etc. and run on mainnet or signet! You are guided through choosing the type of node that you need and then the skills builds a properly configured node, that means a config file, a systemd service, etc. You can find it in this collection of Lightning skills… github.com/Liongrass/ligh… Give it a try and maybe tell your Lightning newb vibe coding friends!

@benhylak the culture is also very anti-top down leadership. it’s hunger games for the VP levels. so, when there’s overlap and conflict, there’s no real resolution, it’s just let’s see how it plays out. shipping the org chart to the detriment of users.

I have loved Google all my life, but there’s a particular pathology I’ve been observing over the last 3 years and it’s starting to bug me. Google keeps creating overlapping AI products with confusingly similar names. Back in 2024, it was Gemini, Gemini Advanced, Gemini Pro/Ultra subscriptions, Gemini API, Google AI Studio, Vertex AI, etc. Today it’s Gemini Spark, Google Antigravity, Vertex AI, Gemini API, Google AI Studio, the Gemini app, and more. I would love to see a coherent product umbrella like OpenAI or Anthropic have built. Instead, I’m often left looking at product names that sound similar but serve very different use cases.

@BenJustman Agree they did the best they could. And agree that they should abolish the draft and ideally abolish max contract terms. Like the only way to curb the coming Spurs dynasty is to force them to pay 70% of cap for Wemby’s extension.

Western Conference NBA teams face an impossible decision now. The path to the finals for the next 5+ years runs through SA/OKC. 11 of the other 13 teams have no path to competing with those two in the next 3-5 years. But, the NBA just made tanking really hard. 🤷‍♂️
