Can someone in Texas confirm if THIS is actually happening?
Amy Mek@AmyMek

🚨 ALERT TEXAS PARENTS: WYLIE ISD IS OPERATING MORE LIKE AN ISLAMIC SCHOOL THAN A PUBLIC ONE Taxpayer-funded Wylie ISD is aggressively advancing Islamization at Wylie East High School: Daily Dhuhr prayers in during school hours Friday Jumuah congregational prayers “World Keffiyeh Day” events pushing Palestinian solidarity & keffiyeh-wearing 2026 Spring Menu proudly introducing HALAL-CERTIFIED items — subsidizing ritual Islamic slaughter (facing Mecca, invoking Allah) on lunch trays February 2026 scandal: “Why Islam?” (ICNA dawah arm), invited by the Muslim Student Association (MSA), distributed Qurans, Sharia pamphlets, hijabs & bags during lunch - NO approval, NO parental consent And once again, we have a photo of Principal Tiffany Doolan donning a hijab with the Muslim Brotherhood-tied MSA “club” members! This image - from her own February 2025 World Hijab Day celebration, where she posted “I LOVED this experience!” - shows the principal enthusiastically participating in MSA’s hijab promotion, setting the tone for unchecked Islamic activism on campus. Public school or Islamic outreach center? Your kids face daily prayers, Sharia-compliant food mandates, religious distributions (until caught), and leadership openly endorsing hijab events linked to MSA. This isn’t “diversity” - it’s institutionalizing Sharia with YOUR tax dollars while Texas pretends to ban it. Sharia isn’t banned in Texas; it’s being celebrated and served in your children’s public schools.

This guy on IG makes stop-motion animations using toy military figures mixed with real war-movie backgrounds. It’s insanely good. AI can’t touch this level of creativity.

@3RenChengHu @misterminsoo Looking at these sample questions you can really see why extra-time accomodations could make a big difference. I bet lots of students could figure this one out eventually, but many would struggle to do it quickly and easily. Speed matters!

Thinking about how the SAT reading section now has micropassages that can be as short as 25 words. Absolutely howling at this question from an official College Board practice exam. Bro 😭

@James67630511 @naomirwolf You find it offensive? I surely don’t. The doctrine of Christ clearly states that he was fully God and fully man. His Jewishness is accidental. This is standard philosophy and Christian theology.

@MichaelMethexis @naomirwolf He could have come through any tribe or group. He specifically chose through the seed of Abraham to come as a Jew. Puzzling to me why you find this so offensive.

I don’t know why people are so historically and theologically illiterate. Christianity descends directly from Jews and Judaism and shares its Ten Commandments and sacred text, the Old Testament.
Dale Partridge@dalepartridge

I keep hearing people say, “America was founded on Judeo-Christian values.” However, 52 of the 55 signers of the Declaration of Independence were Christian. Not one of these men were Jewish. So, no. America was not founded on “Judeo-Christian” values. Just Christian values.

@naomirwolf As a Christian I believe scripture clearly teaches that Jesus was (and is) a Jew, as were the Apostles. Jesus himself said he did not come to do away with the Law but to fulfill it. Not even up for debate that our nation was established on the Judeo-Christian foundation

@pat75981 @WyattCatarina Never in a million years would our founders have thought freedom of religion meant setting up vast complexes which basically act as bases for colonization and eventual rogue “military” action.

@WyattCatarina One of our founding principles is freedom of religion. Agree with it or not, it's the law of the land. I didn't see anything about praying in the streets, chanting or calling to prayers on loud speakers.

Well, it appears that the Islamic Temple was approved to move forward in Tulsa after hundreds showed up to the meeting; standing room only, hours of emotional public comments, with the vast majority opposing it. Whatcha' got to say about that? 😬

@justinamash Your point is well taken in response to hers but implicit in Washington’s comment is assimilation and that we have the means to facilitate it. We’re losing that ability. It may be gone already.

I don’t care for “Heritage American” as a concept or as a phrase, but isn’t this ethic you’re mocking, @Avik, just called…charity and prudence in pursuit of virtuous happiness? People enjoy the good their ancestors did, and we don’t hang their parents’ sins around their children’s necks. It IS an honor to be of a family line of the Cincinnati, and it IS wrong to shame current members of that society for the sins of their great-great-great-grandfathers. We honor the line as a way of honoring the good deeds done. We downplay the sins of the past so as to treat with mercy our neighbors in the present as well and to focus our attention more on what ought to be imitated than on what ought to be reviled (& those things put forward to be reviled are often all too easy to revile in our time). Why? Because virtue is a struggle, but condemning vices we don’t now have is not a part of that struggle. It may even be the opposite of that struggle, which needs an optimistic spirit that emphasizes the good man does, while conscious of the sin.

People are so desperate to advance the “creedal nationalism” thing that they’re saying insane bullshit like this. It’s “loser shit” to care about your ancestors? What? The exact opposite is the case. It’s “loser shit” to act like you just popped into existence on your own, like some kind of self-created deity, and nothing that your ancestors did to bring you into existence, and create the luxurious conditions you enjoy, matters at all. That is shallowness, narcissism, ingratitude. Loser shit.
Sonny Bunch@SonnyBunch

I am generally of the opinion that caring about what ancestors who died before you were born did is complete loser shit and nothing I’ve seen the last few years has really changed that.

@kevinmyoung The biggest issue with the translation of "homosexual" is that the idea simply didn't exist at the time. Sure, there was same-sex activity, but the notion of two same-sex individuals both freely choosing to commit to a loving relationship wasn't really a concept.

If you were to rapture every American into the sky and replace them all with Nigerians, even if those Nigerians came legally and affirmed our nation’s creed, America would not be America anymore in any meaningful sense. It would be Nigeria. Nobody could possibly look at the country and say that it is, in any way that matters, the same as the country our Founders created. The history of this new America would be Nigeria’s history, not America’s. Their founding fathers would be Nigeria’s founding fathers. That’s really the point here. It’s not to say that immigrants can’t become Americans. It’s not to say that you can only be American if you can trace your American bloodline back 300 years or whatever. It’s not to say that we should come up with some legal caste system with “heritage Americans” at the top. No serious person is saying any of that. It’s only to point out the obvious thing. Your ancestry, your historic ties to the land where you live, your sense of belonging to it, your connection with it — these aren’t everything, but they aren’t nothing, either.

@MichaelMethexis @MattWalshBlog No US soldier swears an allegiance to any person, clan, family, people, flag, or place. Only to the US constitution. That is the nation. In fact, to become an American you must swear you have no allegiance of any kind to any of that, just the US constitution — the abstract ideal.
