You championed the Early Childhood Development policy, laying a strong foundation for the future of Uganda’s children. Your leadership has also transformed sports infrastructure, with milestones like the development of Hoima City Stadium, the revival of Akibua Stadium, and the renovation of Namboole Stadium. Your commitment to enhancing science education has strengthened innovation and competitiveness among students, while your efforts to improve teachers’ salaries have uplifted the dignity and motivation of educators nationwide. Dear @UCC_ED, Mr. Nyombi Thembo, I am writing as a concerned Ugandan viewer regarding the growing direction of political programming on our television stations, particularly @nbstv and @sanyukatv. There is an increasing pattern where morning talk shows are dominated by repetitive political narratives, often centered on a single political group, the National Unity Platform. This has created a cycle of discussion that feels less like balanced analysis and more like prolonged political targeting. At a time when Ugandans are facing serious challenges—high cost of living, unemployment, pressure from taxation, gaps in healthcare, and widespread frustration among the youth, media platforms should be prioritizing content that informs, empowers, and provides practical value. Instead, much of the programming has become heavily politicized, featuring the same voices and perspectives, which in many cases fuels division, anger, and fatigue among viewers. Many Ugandans today are not just looking for political debate, they are looking for hope and reassurance, practical knowledge and opportunities, conversations that reflect their real struggles and aspirations. The media has a responsibility to serve the public interest, not just to amplify political noise. I therefore respectfully request that @UCC_Official reviews the nature and balance of such programming and provides guidance to ensure fairness and diversity of perspectives, responsible and constructive discourse and increased focus on content that supports national development and youth empowerment This is not a call for censorship, but a call for accountability and higher standards in broadcasting. Dear @KKariisa, There is something deeply wrong with the direction your television stations are taking and it’s time I say it plainly. Across both @nbstv and @sanyukatv, morning shows have slowly turned into predictable cycles of political obsession. Same topic, same angles, same targets. You have platforms with national reach, you have influence, and you have the power to shape conversations that build this country. But what you choose to amplify is endless fixation on National Unity Platform. Every morning, it’s the same script: a panel, center the discussion around @NUP_Ug, recycle talking points and then move on. But let’s be honest; is this journalism or? Because it is beginning to look like programmed narrative control. Ugandans are dealing with real issues: Unemployment, Cost of living, Lack of practical skills, Broken systems in education and health But instead of meaningful programming that equips people, You decide to feed us with daily political loops that add no value to ordinary lives. What exactly can a young Ugandan learn from these failed politicians? How do they become better, how do they earn, how do they grow? Coz your stations are informing people about propaganda but not transforming their lives. The media should challenge minds, not condition them. It should expand opportunity, not narrow conversation to a single political fixation. And let me address something even more uncomfortable: When media platforms consistently push one direction of conversation, people begin to question independence, intent and the credibility and this is a dangerous place for any media house to reach because once trust is lost, no amount of production quality can restore it. Instead of Munyagwa noise disguised as analysis, give us programs that teach digital skills, highlight real entrepreneurs, break down opportunities for youth and inspire growth beyond politics. This is not an attack Sir, but a call to responsibility. You have built powerful platforms, now build purposeful content. Ugandans don’t just need to be informed, they need to be empowered. You can better Sir. Wasingya 🙏

Naguru based stations will have two morning talk shows one in luganda with munyagwa on sanyuka then Nbs in English with Nsabambi. Just to talk about NUP/ kyagulanyi. Now munyagwa is saying one family member of museveni helped kyagulanyi escape. Nsibambi mbu NUP has no constitution. The agenda IS NUP/kyagulanyi everyday.
