The A146 at Gillingham, at the roundabout with the A143, is currently closed due to tractor with an overturned trailer. The road is expected to be closed for some time whilst the vehicle is recovered. Please avoid the area and find an alternative route #NorfolkRoads

Hello! I'm catching the 18:42 from Dalmuir to Corrour. Which part of the train do I need to be in?
Real time Trains say it's the front half, as it splits at Crianlarich. However it also says both services are 4 cars each (One to Oban and one to Mallaig)

I've just booked a ticket from Redhill - Corrour, which involves an AWC from Euston - Glasgow. Would I be able to upgrade just this portion of the journey to first class? Or would I need to refund the whole journey and book new tickets.

@AvantiWestCoast That's fine! Just one more question, I currently have standard class, however I used split ticketing. I requested a seat, however It's made me change seats 4 times! I have a few large bags with me, but it seems odd how I have to change 4 times. Is this usual for split ticketing?

@MichaelR_321 Hi Michael, you'll be able to upgrade this portion of your ticket by speaking with the Train Manager when travelling onboard. They'll be able to provide an accurate upgrade cost for this leg as well 🙂 - Sam

@MichaelR_321 I'm afraid that's not something we can endorse Michael, you'd need to speak with the guard for this service before boarding, however as the items do exceed the limits you may be denied access to the service. ^Ellie

I have a cooler (32x41x42) and a bag (55x34x45), both slightly over your limits. The bag should fit in the overhead locker.
I'm willing to pay the fee for oversized luggage but unsure how. Can I pay and bring these items on board, or will I be refused?

I saw that, however the location I'm going isn't accessible by road (Corrour), so the only way I could realistically transport them is by train. They don't exceed the limits greatly, only by about 5cm here and there.
