@73Sharp @Josh_Starlinggg @EzzyMUFC Perhaps you should take a reading class. I said I understand why he couldn't wear the shirt but the reason (potential violence) is wrong. Also, govt agents dont shoot people in US without an investigation.

@katieporterca Ms. Porter - If you're elected governor I am investing in moving companies. Anyone earning more than $250,000 is leaving Cal because of the taxes you have to impose to pay for all of the giveaways.

Free universal childcare. Free UCs and CSUs. Eliminating income tax for those earning under $100,000. Californians deserve a governor with a plan to make life more affordable.

@marceelias Actually, it is Republicans that care about the Constitution, specifically the 14th A which prohibits race based classifications. Dems favors policies favoring racial segregation.

Trump and the GOP don’t care about the constitution. They only care about power. We will fight them tooth and nail to protect voters and free and fair elections.

@IngrahamAngle The only way to get a Rep gov in Nov is for two Rep to finish in top two. If its one Rep and one Dem in general election, the Dem is getting elected regardless of who it is. Don't rally around a single Rep candidate, its guarantees a general election loss.

The Supreme Court majority continues to gut the Voting Rights Act and vital protections for our democracy and fair representation. As we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary, it is clear more than ever that we need nationwide reforms to ensure our founding ideals and the greatest experiment in democracy on earth makes it another 250 years. California will not sit back, we will continue to uphold what makes us American, and take action — over and over again — to safeguard our democracy for the generations to come.

@ZacharyDonnini Do it. Illinois will be down to 14 seat at next census because of people leaving. And good luck paying your public sector employee pensions with the billions of taxes that cannot be collected from former residents.

If Republicans aggressively gerrymander the South and eliminate up to 10 Democratic seats under a narrowed VRA, Democrats could become desperate and respond with absurd maps in blue states. This 17-0 Illinois map could become legal, flipping three seats from 🔴 to 🔵.

@isaiahrmartin I wish Blue States good luck with redistricting. Next census will show 10-15 more seats in Red States due to people leaving Blue States. It will also cause billions of tax dollars to move away from Blue states.

According to this new Supreme Court ruling, total blue states like Colorado can draw an 8-0 blue map, Illinois a 17-0 blue map, and California a 52-0 blue map. Time to respond accordingly to this new conservative threat and give Republicans exactly what they asked for.

As lead counsel in #LoperBright, I would be quite happy to go over to the Hill and provide @rosadelauro and her staff with some info on the background, holding, and import of #SCOTUS's landmark decision in our fishermen's case overruling #Chevron deference! @CauseofActionDC
Lee Zeldin@epaleezeldin

Nothing infuriates an uninformed Congressional Dem more than when they realize they voluntarily triggered a debate with someone who actually knows what they are talking about, reads federal statute and adheres to Supreme Court precedent. Today’s self-implosion by @rosadelauro was quite remarkable to witness. Without apology or regret, I will always adhere to the best available reading of federal statute pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Loper Bright.

@RapidResponse47 @DAGToddBlanche The criminal case against shooter should be moved out of DC. It's 90% Dem. Since took train across country may be able to charge illegal gun transport in any state he went through. Let's move the trial to Indiana. It's doubtful a DC jury would convict the shooter.

"We executed a number of search warrants last night," says @DAGToddBlanche on the White House Correspondents' Dinner gunman. "It does appear the suspect was targeting members of the administration... We know that he traveled from Los Angeles to Chicago, and then Chicago to D.C.. It appears he traveled by train during both those legs of his trip, and checked into the Washington Hilton a couple days ago on the 24th."

BREAKING: The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued an injunction blocking enforcement of California’s new law that requires ICE agents to unmask and wear visible ID, arguing it violates the Supremacy Clause because it “attempts to directly regulate the United States in its performance of governmental functions.” California is enjoined from enforcing the law, pending appeal. Big win for the Trump administration & U.S. DOJ.

@tommyjusa @TheFIREorg @StrangelEdweird @UCLA_Law A Heckler's Veto (disrupting speech of another) is NOT protected speech. The university should suspend the students for violating its Code of Conduct, but we know the UCLA administration will do nothing.

What happened at @UCLA_law undermines a university’s basic function. Students have every right to object, question, and peacefully protest invited speakers. But sustained disruption preventing others from hearing a speaker has no place at a university committed to free inquiry. We’ll be watching UCLA’s response.

Dear @USAmbUN: You are wrong. Federal law requires our military to follow the principle of proportionality. Bombing “every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge” causes excessive civilian harm, which are war crimes. And there is no statute of limitations for war crimes.
