@JonLocke @efrnRoN @niccruzpatane @Tesla European bans stem from EU type-approval failures related to passive safety features, including sharp edges and rigid structure that heighten risks to vulnerable road users in low-speed collisions. HGV's are much heavier, but safer for pedestrian and bikes than the cybertruck

The Tesla Cybertruck is the ONLY pickup truck (Gas or Electric) to be awarded IIHS Top Safety Pick+ in 2026 For 2026, IIHS safety rules have become even tougher. Cybertruck is the only truck in its category to be awarded the highest honor. 🦾 Congrats @Tesla Engineering Teams!

@jing1218 @disclosetv Actually safer to use China routers than American ones. China can have your data and can’t do anything with it since you don’t live there. But here…. Ohhhhh Nelly!

@AndrewCurran_ @ptremblay There is also a difference between using LLM’s to make tutorial level software and actually solve real software development problems, ie find subtle bugs, develop actually useful (and not just superficial) tests, implement complete capabilities and not just the first steps, etc

On Khamenei: We don’t list markets directly tied to death. When there are markets where potential outcomes involve death, we design the rules to prevent people from profiting from death. That is what we did here. I know some of you disagree and prefer that we list these markets without a death carveout because it keeps the rules simple and because many traditional markets, like oil futures, can be proxy markets for war and death. But we believe that’s different than having a market directly settling on someone’s death, which is not allowed for US regulated entities. What’s the point of the market, then? A market on Ali Khamenei out as Supreme Leader was important because leadership changes in Iran have major impact on the world order: • geopolitical implications • economic consequences • national security considerations • oil and commodity prices, many of which move based on news and expectations around this outcome And it’s always possible for a ruler to step down or transition power without death, even in autocracies. It just happened in Venezuela. In these instances, we make the caveat clear in the rules and in the market page, but today is a good learning that we can do more in terms of improving the UX and adding more ways to surface the rules. We are committed to improving. In the meantime, here’s what we’re going to do: • We are reimbursing all fees from this market • If you have a position from before Khamenei died, you will be paid out on the last-traded price before his death. (This was clear in our rules) • If you have a position from after he died, we’re going to fully reimburse your cost of entry

Are you serious? Asking an AI to consider how different cultures may perceive a response is not anti-Western. It’s applying a very Western principle which is prudence in speech and awareness of audience. Respecting other civilizations does not diminish the West. It reflects confidence in it.

Sam Altman previously stated that “some firms are attributing job cuts to AI, when in reality, those layoffs were already planned or would have occurred regardless.” He describes this, along with other exaggerations of AI capabilities, as "AI washing"….a tactic aimed at masking business issues. Just sayin’
Bull Theory@BullTheoryio

This is CRAZY. It turns out Jack Dorsey's Block $XYZ spent $68 million on a single party in September 2025, roughly the annual payroll for 200 employees at $340,000 each. Then 5 months later, he laid off 4,000 people (40% of the company's workforce), citing AI and "intelligence tools" as a reason. Many people are speculating the real reason is poor planning and overspending, not AI.

Girl at a tech startup had one job. Track Elon Musk's social media activity for a PR monitoring tool. 8 hours a day counting tweets, replies, reposts. Her coworker joked: You probably know his posting schedule better than his wife. She didn't laugh. She just opened a second tab. Annica. $531,558 profit. 1,610 predictions. Joined August 2025. Every single bet. One question. How many tweets will Elon Musk post this week? Not up or down. Not politics. Not sports. Just counting tweets. 560-579 tweets from February 10 to 17? Bought YES at 0.1 cent. Payout: $177,965. ROI: 40,302%. → Wallet: ratio.you/r/KXE3MWSH Biggest single win: $193,700. From counting tweets. She doesn't bet more or less. She bets exact ranges. 20 tweet difference. And hits. Every. Time. Her coworker found the wallet. Sent it to the team chat: Is this yours? She quit the next Friday. Said she found a better opportunity. 1,610 predictions. $531K profit. The most boring strategy that nobody would ever think to copy. Everyone watches what Musk says. She just counts how often he says it.

@MetalsBrah Also in general I’m going to call bullshit on 20x absorption. You can point me to a study but I know it’s going to be less than gold standard stuff (N=100 or some shit) so I’m not sure links will satisfy me.

You’re exposed to metals in the air everyday you breathe as well. In the cosmetics you put on your skin, toothpaste, etc. Ingesting metals is only a fraction of the exposure equation. You don’t really know this area like I do. The exposure situation is so much worse than you can imagine.

Being pro fasting is the most midwit IQ health practice. Fasting upregulates all the nutrient pathways that toxic metals utilize to get into the body. In some cases absorption of toxic metals goes up 3-4x when fasted versus a fed state. Avoid this delusional fad at all costs in the heavy metal replete environment we now live in.
Hans Amato@HansAmato

Fasting is making most of you worse and the "mental clarity" you feel is literally a stress response I know this is going to piss people off but I don't care because the science is so clear it's embarrassing… You skip meals. Blood sugar drops. Body doesn't have incoming glucose so it hits the panic button. Cortisol spikes. Adrenaline spikes. Liver dumps glycogen. Free fatty acids flood the bloodstream You feel sharp. Focused. Clean Same neurochemical cocktail as nearly getting hit by a car. Your body is mobilizing emergency reserves because you stopped feeding it. That's all that's happening In a well-nourished person with deep metabolic reserves this is totally fine. Buffer the stress, carry on, no damage But most guys doing 18-hour fasts are already running on fumes. Thyroid sluggish. Cortisol already jacked. Sleep is ass. Digestion compromised. These are the exact people who swear fasting is the best thing they've ever done (because stress hormones feel incredible when you've got nothing else running) and they're the ones being wrecked by it Had a guy come to me doing OMAD for 8 months. Swore by it. Cold hands, terrible sleep, couldn't build muscle, libido completely gone. I told him to eat 3 meals a day for 3 weeks and he looked at me like I was stupid Within 3 weeks his hands were warm and he slept through the night for the first time in over a year. Didn't change anything else Every fast in a depleted system borrows from reserves you don't have. The bill shows up later. Thyroid downregulates further. Gut permeability worsens (cortisol eats the intestinal lining btw, most people don't know this). Hands get colder. Sleep gets worse. Muscle wastes The person who needs fasting the least benefits the most from it The person convinced it's "saving" them is accelerating their own decline Sounds counterintuitive but it's pretty simple once you get it. Stress hormones feel like energy. That's the whole trick. Your body is screaming for fuel and you're interpreting the scream as "wow I feel great without food" Eat the food

@MetalsBrah The ways in which absorption increases from fasting are through the GI tract so that is the only relevant detail in the context of fasting.

@MetalsBrah I mean there are definitely upsides. I accept that absorption of metals could be a downside and not the only one but I doubt you’re basically eating the paint chips if you do it.

@MichaelSwanIO Depends on the lead you’re being exposed to. Some have high levels in their water, some have decently high levels in the coffee they drink. Also misspoke it’s 20x increase in absorption. Long multi day fasts are delusional. You’re essentially just starving the body at that point.
