I was really glad to MC two BEL graduation ceremonies last week for #UQ - and with students from the 4 programs I teach (MCom, MBus, MBA, MBusAn) all graduating in those ceremonies.

I am at the hospital @sam_macaulay and I swear that the doctor in the next cubicle is your voice doppelganger. He seems to know a lot more about technical medical stuff than you but, so I am confident you aren't moonlighting. Mostly.

I suggest that this 'grass is greener' problem extends into academic life as well. But nobody ever knows where somebody else is at. #BeKind

Looking back, I wish I hadn’t spent so much time comparing myself to other PhD students. It only made me miserable and increased my anxiety. Lesson: Your PhD journey is yours alone. Define what success looks like for you. #AcademicMentalHealth @ThePhDPlace @OpenAcademics

Ten years of teaching this course at #UQ #MBA for @UQ_Business, and nine in intensive mode. Another great class - we either had a great if intense time of it, or acquired Stockholm syndrome. Either way - it's great when a plan and a strong group of students come together.
