Someone just gave me a "Solo Stove". I helped an 87 year old neighbor fix his chimney. He asked me to hold the ladder while he went up, I was like sure buddy. I went up there and repaired a leak, and put a new chimney cap on, not sure what they are called. He was an Army Ranger in Vietnam, and a Clinical Psychologist after his service as a civilian. Him and his wife are selling everything and getting a small apt. to rent. I said when you have a garage sale, how much do you want for that fire pit, I might want it. When I was leaving, he was walking it out to my golfcart. He said he wanted to give it to me for fixing the roof, I said I didn't ask about it to get it for free. He said, I'm a Clinical Psychologist, I don't think you asked about it to try and get it for free, but a company quoted me $2500 to fix my roof leak and chimney, and you did it just to be nice to an old Vet, and now I want to be nice to a young Vet, enjoy it as much as my wife and I have. I will enjoy it Sir, Thank You.
